Looking for a dog companion that knows the ropes? Sherman is your man! 7 year old Sherman is easy to handle, walks well on the leash, is very very house trained! (he holds it) Does well in his kennel, takes treats gently and sits on command. Sherman weighs in about 51lbs and says he doesn`t eat very much. Sherman gets along well with other calm/laid back dogs. He is in our Gentle/Dainty multi dog play group. This laid back guy would be great for snuggling up on movie nights, calm quiet walks and just chillin`.

Lydia is a girl's girl, so she tends to naturally warm up to ladies and be extra attentive to them. Males, don't worry...as long as you give her treats and tell her she's a pretty girl, she will be your friend. He is house and crate trained and knows basic commands. He is selective with other dogs and prefers to be top dog. He is not good with small furry critters like cats or chickens. He has a prey drive and is protective over his 'things' (toys, bed, crate, bowls). He is a good boy at bath time but hates having his toenails clipped. (With patience and love he now trusts me to do this.) Our dog adoption fees range from $95 to $400 and include spay/neuter, microchip, a rabies vaccine and a parvo/distemper vaccine. It also includes a heartworm test. All dogs are current on heartworm and flea prevention. If you see a dog here you are interested in, the best way to get more information is to visit our adoptable dogs album at www.SWSDogs.com. From there you can find the dog and comment on his or her picture which will notify the foster family of your interest. We are a foster-based rescue, so adoptable animals are in private homes in the NW Florida Panhandle. The best way to meet one of our pets is to attend our adoption events on Saturday.
