She does great with other dogs of all sizes after a proper introduction, and loves everyone she meets after a proper introduction as well - the caveat there being that she can be very protective of her home and untrusting of new people when they first come in. We have found that Chloe does very well meeting new people outside on a leash and then coming inside the house together. She does have some storm phobia, which translates to anxiety around other loud noises as well (fireworks, construction, etc) which she usually reacts to by hiding in a corner until the scary sounds cease. She is on Prozac daily, which helps with her anxiety. She is very smart and treat-motivated, and has shown no destructive tendencies in the home. We rescued Simba from a local animal hospital. As a smaller puppy he was manageable. We potty trained him, taught commands like sit and stay, and crate trained him. He is sweet, playful, easy going, snuggles, good with our cat, lizard and kids. We bought an RV before we got him and found out he’s too big to travel. My youngest (who is 3) also does not like dogs very much. We are struggling to manage everything and want him to find a family that is who my husband and I were before kids. He needs a family who has time to go on walks, play in the yard, or hike, visit dog parks, and has older children.

We adopted Dolly in 2019. Shortly after, we learned she had been abused and was reactive to most men and some animals. Over the last the 5 years, she has had her quarks, but never serious issues. After we had our baby earlier this year, she has begun acting out towards our other animals and in certain social situation. She is extremely intelligent and has been a sweet loving dog, we just believe she needs to be in an environment where she gets more attention and is less stimulated to bring out her best qualities.
