I adopted Maggie in September of 2014. I was depressed and alone and needed a friend. Maggie has been my very best friend! She is pulled me out of that depression, that allowed me to meet my husband and have 4 kids! We ended up selling our 3,000 sqft home with a fenced in yard to eliminate our debt. We moved our family of 5 to a 900 sqft apartment. After welcoming our 4th child, in our very tiny home, Maggie is just not herself anymore. She's needs space to run, love from older kids, or enough space to take a break from younger kids. We just can't give this to her anymore. So with a broken heart, I'd love to send her to the next person who needs her.

Gemma is about 2 years old and has lived with our family for about a year. She is a wonderful, loving, high-energy dog who would really benefit from a 1-1 relationship with her owner. Unfortunately we have a young child (toddler) and due to complicated life circumstances, we are not able to provide her with her ideal environment. We hope to find someone who can devote time and attention to her. If you're looking for a snuggle bug & a loyal friend, look no further. She LOVES affection (hugs, snuggles, etc)! and a dab of whipped cream on top of her meals. From past experience, she is on high-alert/on guard in a condo/apartment setting (prefers single home setting). Gemma has anxiety and takes medicine 2x daily to manage symptoms; she is working on fear response for vet visits and nail trims, baths. She does absolutely GREAT for car rides! Treat and affection motivated, easy to train if you have the time :) Adoption fee includes her medicine, food, accessories Questions? Please ask!

Momos previous owners house burned down and were unable to find anyone to take him in. Honestly it seems they did not take care of him very well at all. He is very skinny and eats and drinks like every time will be his last scarfing down every last bite and drinking as much water that we give him. He is the sweetest most loving dog, he has no signs of aggression towards my cats, myself, or my little sisters. He is low energy and is crate trained. He would be a great family dog and deserves a loving family who will care for him properly and he would provide so much love and joy. I would love to keep him but I do not have the finical means to do so.

I found her on E. Washington St. She was trapped in a fenced construction site trailing her leash. I think she got in but couldn’t figure out how to get out. It was really cold outside and while she was nervous she came happily. She got a bath, a fluffy towel and some snuggles. She is crate trained and goes in easily and happily.

Gumbo was found wandering at a local park on 2/12/25. He was severely underweight(the last picture was the night I found him). I have been taking care of him and he is really a great dog. He’s not full boxer, but his body is definitely boxer. I took him to the vet on 2/15 for an exam and fecal test. Test came back negative for any intestinal parasites and giardia. The vet said other than being severely underweight, he looks good! I will be scheduling his vaccines and neuter as soon as I can get an appointment. He is doing well with house training. He is a total cuddle bug. Does amazing in a crate. He does well on a leash. I am unsure how he is with other dogs or young kids. He is friendly and excited to meet new people. He is showing to be a quick learner and is very food/treat motivated, which is great for training!

Alfie is a sweet boy with a lot of energy. He is very smart, loves to play and enjoys being with people. Alfie was crate-trained and spent his first two years crated more often than not. I have fostered him since June and he has learned how to be out of the crate and is comfortable in the house - although he loves to be outside more often. He is not leash trained, but we are working on this. Alfie lives with two older dogs. He gets along well with them, but they are not at all interested in playing with him. Alfie deserves the opportunity to be with someone who loves a big dog and will provide him with daily exercise. If you are looking for a loyal companion, please reach out.

Maverick is a super sweet boy! He was rescued from the streets of Indianapolis. I have had him for about 3 years now. He loves to play with balls and run around the dog park (by himself)! He also loves cheese and peanut butter! He is estimated to be around 3-4 years old. I would love for him to be homed to a family that can give him the attention that he needs/deserves, along with train him properly. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, paw, lay down) when he’s inside, but is not crate trained (had separation anxiety when I first got him) nor does he do very well on a leash. He also lunges towards other dogs while leashed, but not when his energy is all the way out. I live in an apartment and he’s a hyper-active dog, and with me traveling often and working 2-3 jobs, I don’t get to see him or take care of him as much as I’d like to.
