Story
PLEASE READ FULL BIOHi there – My name is Kyle! I am 7 months old and a sweet and affectionate Boxer boy. I am willing tobet all the chew toys in PetSmart that you have never met a dog like me!Before I tell you about my personality and make you fall hopelessly in love with me, I want to share withyou the health condition that makes me so special and the reason I've earned the nickname "Short-Circuit" around my foster family. I have been diagnosed with narcolepsy and cataplexy – this meansthat I sleep more than the average dog, and whenever I get overwhelmed with emotion (generally veryexcited) I drop instantly into sleep and can lose control of my limbs. This can happen anywhere – on awalk, playing with my dog friends, eating or greeting my favourite people. Ive been told that it lookslike a switch goes off. These episodes usually only last a few seconds, and clapping, a back rub or blowing gently into my faceusually rouses me awake again. Once that switch gets turned back on, I go back to doing whatever itwas I was doing before I fell asleep, just like nothing happened. The good news is most dogs can live a normal life with this condition!  I am currently on somemedication that helps. I will need my family to be attentive and prop me up during exciting or stressfulevents, but otherwise, I am just like any other dog! It is possible that my episodes will get less frequentas I get older, when the world is not such a new and exciting place to explore. My new family should familiarize themselves with narcolepsy/catalepsy and discuss with their vet.As promised, here are my qualities that are sure to make you swoon: In true Boxer fashion, I am a master of deep, soulful gazes and have a saucy pout that is sure to haveyou wrapped around my little paw.I am excellent at a viral dance trend known within the Boxer community, the Kidney Bean Dance. My foster family says I am an old soul in a puppy body. Due to my condition, I am much calmer thana lot of puppies my age (most of the time) and I enjoy an extra amount of human contact. I stillhave my moments of bouncing around but napping with humans is my favourite activity. I LOVE sitting in laps and getting hugs - I don't believe there is any such thing being too big to sit on ahuman lap. I will try to fit my super long arms and legs into laps of all shapes and sizes. Not to brag, but Ive been told several times that I give the best hugs and kisses in the whole world.Must be these long, gangly arms. I currently live with two dogs, two cats and two elementary school aged girls. I love to wrestle withmy Lab foster brother and cuddle up with the girls. Cats are fairly boring to me and I generallyignore them. I do need to work on using proper manners with humans (they don't seem to like my play biting orjumping). I am extremely food motivated and this will be useful when learning new skills. I am crate trained and very nearly house trained. If you are a special person looking for an extra special one-in-a-million companion – I would love to meetyou!LOCATED IN BURLINGTON

Story
My boy Lewy. 4 years old, 90 lbs, male, fixed, docked tail. Brindle Boxer X Blue Tick Coon hound. High prey drive. Lives with 2 other dogs, 75 lb Afghan and 90 lb Presa Canerio. We have almost an acre, with doggie door. Fed twice a day, kibble, cooked meat/veggies, raw chicken carcass. Out twice a day, 30 mins to 1 hour. Off leash as much as possible. Trained, tested Therapy dog. Has been visiting our local seniors weekly for the past 2 years. Not his favorite thing to do, but the seniors love him. Amazing, beautiful dog, well behaved but bored. It is such a shame he is a good boy, but not happy living with senior me, he is going out of his mind. Starting to get depressed, grumpy, groans and whines a lot. He needs more going on. Younger, larger active family, with more to keep his brain occupied.
