Story
"Missing something? Sorry about that, it's probably in my crate! Promise it isn't chewed though, I just like to hide things in my bed! Hi! I'm Cirice! I have a confession to make... I like to hide everything in my bed! I don't chew things up, but I'll definitely snatch any interesting artifact I can find and stash it in my blankets. I get very silly and excited when my foster mom looks in my crate to see what treasures I have scavenged. Anything on the floor is fair game... mostly I collect toys, but I'll also pirate a slipper or flipflop now and then. That being said, I'm a very sensitive girl and if you catch me in the act and tell me 'no', I will never touch it again. I don't fully know what I'm allowed to have and what I'm not, but I don't like to disappoint my foster mom and I listen when she tells me to leave something alone. I am a 5 year old boxer. I was surrendered to Zoe's by a commercial breeder who was downsizing their kennel. Being in a home is all new to me, and sometimes I find it a bit overwhelming. I retreat to my crate when that happens. It helps me feel safe and my foster mom leaves the door open so I can come out when I'm ready. My foster home has other dogs, cats, rabbits, and I get along with everyone. I am shy at first, but my foster dog siblings boost my confidence. I love to follow them around. My foster mom has spent a lot of time with me to help me adjust to life in a family. New things can be very scary. She tells me how proud of me she is every day as my confidence grows. I love treats! I never say no to a pupperoni! I am a chunky gal, and my foster mom is helping me trim down with measured meals and gentle exercise. Leash walking isn't my favorite thing, but I do not pull. I am sensitive to loud noises and I do tend to startle easily. I am looking for a calm home where I can take my time adjusting to my new life, and learn what it means to be part of a family." Cirice is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and recently had a dental cleaning. She is kept up to date on monthly parasite prevention. She is being fostered in southern Lancaster county PA and prospective families must be willing to come to her foster home twice. Once to meet her with all members of the family, including resident dogs, and once more to take her home. Although Cirice has never had a potty accident in her foster home, she is newly housebroken and accidents are normal in new environments. Ready to meet Cirice? Go online to www.zoeshouserescue.com and complete an adoption application! We do not always receive applications submitted through adoptapet or petfinder. Story
Palooka is a great dog. But he is need just a little more attention than our family can give him. The kids are going back to school and both parents are working full time now. He has lots of energy during the day and he is very snuggly in the evening (my favorite part). He is great with our kids and other dog. He is too curious for our cats to be comfortable with, and they let him know when he's too close. He loves meeting new people and can't wait to see you.

Story
This handsome boy enjoys car rides, sunbathing in the yard, short walks, zoomies in the yard, and being chased by his canine friends. Bailey is happy sleeping alone on his bed but will cuddle with you. Bailey isn’t particularly food motivated, but he very much enjoys cleaning out yogurt containers, carrots, chicken, cheese, eggs, and pizza crust (in moderation of course). Once he’s comfortable with you, be prepared for Bailey to jump on you in the mornings and force kisses on you and jump for joy when you come home. He will take a few meetings before he comes out of his shell, but this boy is very much worth the time investment! Must have a physically fenced yard.  Bailey is located in Birdsboro, (Berks County) Pa ♥ Interested in meeting Bailey in person? Bailey is scheduled to attend the following events: 5/25/2024 @ 11:00-2:00pm: TSC Pottstown, 799 N State Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 6/23/2024 @ 11am-12:00: Ringing Rocks Roller Rink’s Bizarre Bazaar, 815 White Pine Lane Pottstown, PA 19464 (This event has individual time slots for our dogs in attendance. Story
Dolly is a six month old Boxer mix with the cutest underbite. She has such a beautiful heart. This sweet girl was sadly abandoned on someone’s property in South Carolina, but she hasn’t let that dampen her spirit. Dolly is a true gem—she's crate trained, potty trained (she even lets you know when she needs to go and holds it until you get her outside!), and she's a quiet companion who isn’t much of a barker. Dolly has a way of winning over everyone she meets, including the resident dog bully at her foster home, who now showers her with kisses at every opportunity. She’s great on a leash, both for walks and potty breaks, though she’s still getting used to new things like the sound of rolling trash cans. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered dog with just a little bit of shyness (which only makes her more endearing), Dolly could be the perfect addition to your family. Does not require a fenced in yard Great with dogs, children (cats unknown) Dolly will need a foster or foster to adopt scenario to help her get one step closer to finding her furever family.  Should you be interested in fostering or fostering to adopt Dolly, please contact us at: Email: mostlymuttz@gmail.comWebsite: www.mostlymuttz.org #fosteringsaveslives #fostertoadopt #fostertoforever #mostlymuttzrescue #seekingpafoster #beautifulheart (Dolly is currently located in a foster home in Lexington (Davidson County), North Carolina.  She is available for adoption within 2 hours drive of Thomasville, NC.  She is also available for foster or foster to adopt in our normal service area in the Northeast.  Any questions regarding adoption coverage areas should be directed to mostlymuttz@gmail.com) ##2146188##

Story
Calling all Pitty lovers! Synclair the roughly 1.5 year old, 45lb male Pitbull is up for adoption! He is blind but don't, "pity him it doesn't hold him back one bit. Hello everyone, my name is Synclair! I was an owner surrender for no fault of my own; my family just couldn't keep me and had been very sad to let me go. They tell me I'm blind, but honesty I don't think I am at a disadvantage. Loud household noises don't frighten me at all, and I am a smart pup who can learn the layout of my environment quickly. I do best with a routine, it helps me know what to expect and curb some slight anxiety. I'm a sweet gentle boy who absolutely loves everyone. My favorite things include snuggling, playing with my toys, and getting treaties. I walk okay on the leash with some guidance from my foster mom, and I have mastered getting up and down stairs! I am also quite skilled at getting up into the car for rides around town. Still working on my relationship with my crate, I have been doing really well sleeping in my crate at night now. I do cry out when my foster family leaves me in the crate to go out on the town without me, however I settle down eventually. I ring a bell that my foster family has set up for me by the door when I want to go outside; this has helped me well in eliminating my accidents. However, they tell me regression is common in new environments. My foster mom says I am a smart boy and will catch on quick in my new home with a routine. Still working on some manners, I am still a big puppy, and little cheeky. My foster mom has a full house with lots of noise so when I get caught doing something I shouldn't, I'm very easily redirected. My foster family includes two small children, and other than occasionally bumping into them when they are too quiet (which is not often), we get along great! I really love to chow down on my dog food, a puzzle feeder would be best, so I take my time and not eat too fast. I Would be okay with a dog friendly cat that didn't mind me sniffing and being all up in their space. I do love to play but I am only mildly energetic, mostly I am calm cool and collected. I will get excited when you come home after being away, but what dog who loves you wouldn't? I have been Microchipped, neutered, vetted, and up to date on vaccines. My foster mom says I'm truly a sweet and special dog that will make one lucky family happy. If I sound like a good fit for you, please apply! Currently being fostered in Reading PA. Story
Introducing...Miss Adonia! Addie, as she is affectionately called in her foster home, is a 6-years young lady in the prime of life who maintains a peppy step and a "let's enjoy the day" attitude. Addie was pulled from a local shelter partner when her foster mom saw a video of her sitting in her kennel, quietly observing the loud noises of the shelter with a bewildered look on her face. It was no place for this sweet soul. In her foster home, Addie has been living with both female and male dogs and has been a friend to everyone. She has not been cat tested, but she does find them interesting from a distance, so she is probably best in a canine only home. Addie's list of things she hopes for in her forever home (with foster mom's notes): - Addie loves people, and is welcoming to both men and women. Her foster parents do not have human children so she has only met a few, but did well with them. She has not shown any resource guarding or grouchiness, and take surprises and new situations in stride, so a home with children (age 6 and up for sturdiness sake) is a definite possibility. She does like to give kisses! - Someone who enjoys a daily stroll at a moderate pace. (One longer walk, or a couple shorter walks are generally good to fulfill her daily exercise needs. She walks nicely on leash and has the cutest Tigger-bounce when she is happy. She is not the dog for you if you like to run long distance). - A cozy spot to nap. (During the day, Addie rests in crate while her foster parents are at work. She is totally fine with this and spends the time catching zzzz's. She is not a couch creeper either. She actually seems to prefer the floor or her bed, though if invited, she would definitely love to snuggle on the couch with her person. When given free-roaming time in the house, she prefers to lay near where the people are and chill. She appreciates attention, but doesn't need or constantly demand it). - Snacks. (Addie has shown that she is praise-motivated when training and she has a biddable nature, but snacks always sweeten up the deal). In short, Adonia is a mild-mannered and level-headed sweetheart who enjoys the simple things in life. She is looking for someone who will appreciate her soft snores when she is in the midst of a solid nap, and enjoy a late afternoon walk with her. Addie is spayed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on her vaccines, and is on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. She is crate-trained and housebroken (although regression is common with a change of environment).
