Have you considered trying a rescue puppy on for size? Well, Skechers and Toms are the last two brothers left from our shoe litter! These boys are smart, social and fun-loving. It’s only a matter of time before they find their perfect fit. Initially thought to be Border Collie mixes, Skechers and Toms have definitely filled out at just five months old. We think they must be mixed with a much larger breed, and will likely surpass 50 pounds once fully grown. That said, they still exhibit the athleticism and eagerness to please that Border Collies are known for. They are just a little larger and more huggable than your average doggo! Skechers and Toms are also eager to show off the manners that they’ve learned in foster care. They are potty-trained, leash-trained and friendly towards other dogs. They are even getting the hang of basic commands like “sit,” “come” and “no”! Just like any puppy, these boys will need continued training and plenty of attention in their new homes to become the best dogs they can be. Words that describe Bobo are friendly, calm, active, playful, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! He can sometimes be picky on dog friends so proper introduction should be kept in mind. He has been around a baby since she was born and that baby is now 2 1/2. He's very good with her. She wasn't always so nice to Bobo. Due to being previously attacked and injured by a cat, he has a high guard with cats and does not like them. Best not to go to a home with cats for safety. He is house trained and not ever crate trained. At night he sleeps in the front room of the home or in the bedroom with the adult and 2 year old. When we're away and he is left alone, he is fine but occasionally will try to sneak snacks if they are within reach. He is scared of storms but doesn't howl or bark or scratch at anything like how I have seen other dogs can. Some of his favorite things are riding in the car, playing with his toys, going for walks and sunbathing in the backyard.

We got Gabby from our neighbors! Fun fact: she is born in New Years Jan 1, 2024 making her 6months old now. She is very clingy sweet dog and requires lots of attention. She is also potty train never once potty in her crate or inside the house. She knows how to let you know when she needs to be outside. She always just wants to play catch, always try and stand up so she can play with you! We hope to find somebody that will give her lots of hugs and attention. Somebody that has time to train and love her.

This silly boy wiggled his way into the backyard one morning and has been a great playmate for my energetic dog for the last few weeks. Sadly, having been unable to locate owners, and not being in the place to keep him, this loving, curious, bouncy boy will have to part from us and find his forever home. He seems young (about 7-9 months) and I've updated his shots - more rounds needed. He craves attention and hugs (and dinnertime). He listens very well to what he's told is not okay, and progresses quickly. Would make a great loyal pet for someone ready to give him a lot of care and attention.

I got Mat from a girl that sat at my bar when I was working at a family owned restaurant. He was a baby and the sweetest thing on the planet. Mat has been with me from when he was three weeks older until now, four years old. He is a very sweet boy that needs a lot of attention. When I first got him, I had the help of my partner to take care of him, my other dog, and my cat. It was a lot easy back then and he was very playful with my kittie. They were best friends. They would play for hours and one day he bit him and never stopped disliking cats. I’ve separated him from my cat that’s been with me for the past ten years and they’ve remained in separate rooms for the past two years. I live alone now and being in that situation has become unsustainable. He’s a sweet boy, he needs to be able to have someone that has the will to take care of his sweet soul.
