Sadie is an absolute lady with a love of squeaky stuffies, tennis balls, and people! This amazing girl stole all our hearts with her ease and smiling face, we hope she reaches yours too! Fall in love with Sadie here: https://youtu.be/tknJVMR6Esw?si=4zf-rX2UMJOlctjm In rescue age and breed are details about a dog we can never know with 100% confidence but we believe Sadie is a boxer/lab mix and possibly 5 years old, weighing 40 lbs. Her face gives off an older look than her physical health and energy level show. Those details don’t speak to who Sadie is at her core though, this is a dog that only sees the goodness and reflects it right back. Everyone who met her commented that she “made my day” or “her happiness is contagious!” It was hard not be overwhelmed with a smile for seemingly no reason at all, no silly tricks or attention getters, just her company. She is something really special in this world and we can't even imagine how much more she will shine once she finds her forever family. Sadie’s easy-going nature can be seen in all her interactions- with other dogs she was friendly and content in their company, and with our house cat she was perfectly respectful. An ideal home for Sadie is one where napping is encouraged and dog-toys will be purchased. For a canine companion, Sadie would love an easy-going partner-in-chill and cats are welcome! Thanks to her calm and quiet nature, and size, Sadie would be a great fit for the apartment life or a house with a yard. All we think she absolutely needs is a family of her own and a home where she is loved! Sadie is great with kids, in her video she plays with a 6 year old. She’s gentle, patient and not easily overwhelmed by the sudden movements and loud noises that young children make. Sadie is also great with cats, not overly interested and happy to coexist. She’s a champion on leash, with enough stamina and interest to accompany you on long walks, but loves the indoor lifestyle enough to spend hours and hours snuggling on the couch. Sadie is a wonder-dog, and so thoroughly loved here at the rescue- we can’t wait to see her showered in the love of her forever family. Sadie does have a mild case of dry eye in one of her eyes, which is eased with daily drops, and six-month supply is included in her adoption. Learn more about Sadie’s eyes in her video. Sadie is available for adoption now! The sooner you get her home the sooner the love can start flowing! The best days of Sadie’s life are ahead of her and she can’t wait to spend them with you! If you have any questions about Sadie or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Meet Caesar! This gentle 4-year-old and 72-pound boxer boy is ready to steal your heart with his sweet demeanor and mellow energy. My favorite thing about Caesar is the kisses he gives you and he will give lots of them. When first meeting if you crouch down low and baby talk him he will literally melt into a gushy lover boy and start wagging his tail. His face becomes the most expressive and his head tilts when you talk to him like he’s having the conversation with you. The boy is a gentle boy that is cautious to not knock you over but he does love to stand up and give you BIG hugs. If you stop giving him love he will affectionately paw your hand to say, Hey, I still want more!” This week Caesar’s foster took him to the Houston dog show where he met many new dogs and kids with the best manners! Caesar is a whiz when it comes to meeting new dogs, no matter their size or gender. Caesar is a medium-energy boy who knows how to read other dogs' cues to play or be left alone. Caesar transitions smoothly into new homes and quickly adapts to routines and rules. He respects corrections from other dogs and coexists peacefully with them, showing his adaptable nature. Caesar has made tremendous progress with crate training. He willingly enters his crate on command and has learned to communicate his needs effectively. Caesar is vocal only when he needs to go potty and politely requests to be let out of his crate. Caesar thrives in a calm environment and enjoys exploring his surroundings before settling down for a nap. He's content spending time in his crate or freely roaming the apartment, showing excellent behavior in both settings. This sweet boy sleeps through the night in his crate without any issues. While Caesar can be timid around loud noises and cars, he's been improving with consistent encouragement and support. He benefits from a confident handler who can guide him through these challenges. On walks, he may startle at sudden noises or movements but responds well to verbal corrections. He works every day building up his confidence. We think his best home would be in a suburban neighborhood or in a rural setting. This boy is likely not going to be a downtown high rise city boy! This smooshy-faced sweetheart gets along famously with dogs of all sizes and loves being part of doggie play groups. He's friendly, submissive, and adores human attention. Caesar is looking for a loving home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy the companionship of a caring family. Could Caesar be the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for? He will be ready to smother you in kisses! Meet Coba, the charming and oh-so-cuddly 72 pound four-year old Boxer with a personality as adorable as his short legs and charming wrinkles! Coba is the definition of laid-back – he’s mellow, calm, and always ready for a snuggle session or a good booty scratch (which he absolutely loves!). Watch Coba here: https://youtu.be/uL8542t2T8Y When he's not basking in the glory of belly rubs, Coba enjoys exploring his surroundings, confidently strutting around with his head held high. He has a bit of an independent streak, but that just adds to his cool, confident demeanor. But don’t let his calm nature fool you. He loves his humans the most and ultimately wants a family or partner that will include him in their every day life. Coba could live in an apartment, condo or home with a yard. He is a quiet boy and we could even see him living in a busy city. Coba meets everyone with his dreamy big eyes andgoofy grin. Coba is best matched with a secure, more dominant female who can appreciate his confidant, independent nature. He has been great with older kids that were calmer. He has aced his leash skills making him enjoyable to take on walk and is quiet in a crate. Coba also gets along with small dogs, proving that his gentle and easy-going nature makes him a great buddy for pups of all sizes! But no cats for Coba, they are just too interesting for him. If you're looking for a lovable companion with a heart as big as his personality, Coba is your guy! His little wrinkles, playful spirit, and love for a good scratch will make every day brighter. Come meet Coba and let him show you just how wonderful life can be with a Boxer by your side! Story
Meet Rio, a pocket sized boxer mix that is attentive and loyal to people. Rio is a well-behaved dog who walks beautifully on a leash, needing only minimal corrections. He’s people-focused, often checking in with his handler during walks and around other dogs. He would love to go on hiking adventures or walks around the neighborhood. Rio could live in apartment due to his smart size and leash skills. But a home with a yard to roam in would be enjoyable for him too! Rio is gentle and relaxed, accepting touch with ease and even allowing himself to be picked up and carried without fuss. He does well with a quick verbal correction and shows no signs of resource guarding affection. While he gets along fine with cats when they’re on the ground, he may chase them if they jump onto high surfaces, so a cat-free home would be ideal. Rio is best suited for a home with a medium to low-energy dog or with a family where he can enjoy being both independent and affectionate. He would do well with kids and would make a great family dog! If you're looking for a loyal and attentive companion, Rio might just be the perfect match for you! Story
This cutie is Nae Nae. She is currently 5 months old, and we think they may be a Pug and chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. https://youtu.be/7OVtCEbdnBg?feature=shared Nae Nae is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She can be shy at first when meeting new people and dogs but with time she blossoms into the most confident and affectionate girl! She loves treats which is great for training her. She is the happiest when she’s in a quiet environment and is just playing with her brother and the people she loves. Nae Nae met the house and gave him his distance. She would do well in a home with cats and a home with another playful small dog! Nae Nae is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
This cutie is Dae Dae. He is currently 5 months old, and we think they may be a Pug chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. Dae Dae is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He can be shy at first when meeting new people and dogs but with time he blossoms into the most confident and affectionate lil guy! He loves treats which is great for training him how to sit and walk on leash. He is the happiest when he’s in a quiet environment and is just playing with his sister and the people he loves. Dae Dae met the house cat and gave him his distance. He would do well in a home with cats and a home with another playful small dog! Dae Dae is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yo!! Let me introduce myself. My name is Bronx D'Puppy and I'm thought to be a boxer/lab mix. In rescue tho, that's not 100% guaranteed. I am 6 months old and am a growing boy. I love to play, play and play some more. I love all my foster brothers and sisters and we have a great time playing all day. I love my toys and I especially love my tennis ball. I am working on potty training and will need continued assistance for my success. I know how to use a doggy door and so far I get along with the cats I've met.  I will likely be a big boy when I'm full grown. Not a sure bet but likely around 50 - 60 lbs.  I will need someone with patience and understanding  committed to training to help me become the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty, the best snuggles and all my love! Story
Meet Remy! A face everyone can LOVE! Literally, it is soooo squishy and then that smile. Can you already tell we are a little bit obsessed?! Smart, potty trained, crate trained, dog friendly, INSANELY cuddly and squishy! Remy is truly a special boy with a love for the ladies! He is trying to get to a ladies exclusive Pride event before the month is over! Don’t get me wrong though, Remy is a ladies man but he hasn’t written men off- he enjoys his male humans too! He just needs slow introductions and time to warm up. He needs time to slowly check them out, see what they are about, and then he’ll be your BFF and instant playmate. This boy is truly a loyal king! He is ready for furever and will roll, slip, and slide to get your attention, then hit you with the brown puppy-dog eyes to seal the deal! Sure he snores but its easy to ignore when he has so many other great qualities. Plus, he will always say yes to a coffee date as long as you are buying. His order never changes- one pup cup! Please and thank you! Remy is a 3LP favorite- from staff to volunteers, every person he meets falls head over heals or him. He may win the award for most Doggy-Day-Outs! He is consistently the chosen one, which is where he acquired a taste for Pup Cups and car rides. See him through the eyes of all us Remy lovers in his “dating profile introduction.” This hunk would prefer a home with no cats. Well, if I am honest- he would LOVE a home with cats- they are sooo fun to chase if you ask him. Us, we know that it causes chaos and makes any cat out there upset and we don’t want that for anyone! Remy may only want to play but cats think differently. This boy isn’t only good looks and good taste, he is smart too! He has learned to sit, stay, and his foster mom shared he is house trained! He loves to play fetch and his favorite toy is anything that squeaks.Plus, he is very treat motivated so continued training should be a piece of cake! Looks, manners, teachable… an actual dream man! Saint Remy is also great on leash and rides well in the car so he is ready for walks and hikes anywhere you want to go! Be warned though, he does try to sneak kisses while you drive, he isn’t pushy, just wants you to know he loves you for driving and how much he enjoys spending time with you. He would love a fenced in yard where he can roam and fetch a ball! Even if it’s just him tossing the ball to himself! Which, yes, he does! We believe Remy would do well in a home with another dog that matches his energy and doesn’t mind the classic bully breed approach to play. He is absolutely up for being your one and only though, he has the love and adoration of 5 dogs in him to give and is ready to soak up all the attention and adventures he can to make up for “lost-time.” He has lived with large males both playful and more calm. He loves to romp around and share his toys and has always been the submissive one of the bunch. So much so that he is what we call an Assessment dog. This is basically a gold star in the 3LP world, a dog that is predictable and consistent, used to gauge in-coming dogs personality towards other dogs. Inviting if they were friendly, neutral if they were unsure, aloof and avoidant if the dog shows signs of being aggressive. Remy has helped save hundreds of dogs by being such a stable, non-conflict dog. He carved out a huge space in the heart of everyone at the rescue because he is a dogs-dog on top of all that charm. He isn’t a vocal boy so living in a condo/townhome environment would be fine as long as he receives plenty of toys and gets that much needed time to bask in the sun and daily walks (more like strolls). Story
She’s the sweetest, smartest and funniest dog we know! Taylor Snift and her perpetually wagging tail will melt your heart! She is SO smart, highly trainable, has mastered commands like sitting and shaking. Total tik-tok dog too, this girl would be the perfect candidate to teach silly viral-worthy tricks to, she LOVES learning, and already knows a handful of commands! 100% AWESOME ADVENTURE DOG with so much potential to become YOUR perfect dog. We believe Taylor to be an American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog mix of some sort. She’s around 50 pounds, and estimated to be around two and a half years old. However, Taylor is a rescue, so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Begin your LOVE STORY here: https://youtu.be/Lw1V1GrIyPM Taylor Snift is not just your average dog – she's an active and agile girl. She loves going on walks and runs, playing games in the back yard, and loves kids! Let her and your kiddos into the backyard, and half an hour later you’ll have a home full of tired little ones, ready to calmly enjoy a relaxing night. With her playful spirit, and ability to jump, she would excel in learning agility games, she’s so muscular and smart. Taylor Snift has the moves, wiggling her entire body when she's excited and ready for attention. She's the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys an active or semi-active lifestyle, has kids that need a playmate, or wants a furry friend to join them on hikes and outdoor adventures. Taylor is highly intelligent, and food-motivated, furthering her training will be enjoyable for both of you. Her intelligence brings her a desire for engagement that means that she actively seeks our opportunities to learn. If you’re looking for a dog to teach tik-tok worthy tricks, that’s Taylor, and she’ll LOVE you for it. She’s quick to learn boundaries and house rules too, takes verbal correction well, and is just always so eager to please. Social and friendly, Taylor Snift is a people-lover to her core. She gets excited about meeting new faces and loves making friends. She’s so loving and snuggly too, she balances out her day with cuddling up with her family and showing lots of affection. Taylor's loving nature extends to other dogs as well – she's a social butterfly, always ready for a playful romp with her canine companions. She’s a goofy player, she will find a toy in just about anything, perch on any surface to check it out, she’ll take tumbles and get up with a big grin on her face. She is such a bright part of the day for the other dogs at the rescue. Her playful spirit is infectious! Her love for toys knows no bounds, whether it's fluffy stuffed animals, squeaky toys, or bouncing balls! Taylor Snift is always up for a game of fetch or a snuggle with her favorite toys. With her adorable mismatched ears – one standing up and one flopping down – Taylor Snift has such a cute flair to her style! She is not only charming but downright irresistible. She's a picture-perfect pup, eagerly awaiting the day she finds her forever home. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, beautiful, loving and active companion, Taylor Snift might just be the furry friend you've been searching for. Taylor’s perfect home would have a big backyard for her to zoom in, and at least one adoring human to play with her, and love on her. Taylor would do well with other active and playful dogs in the home, or as a solo-dog, soaking up all of your love and attention! Taylor has lived with children before, and does well with them, however she can sometimes get a bit rowdy. We recommend her for a home with older, dog savvy kids- if your kids are used to big, active dogs, she could be a perfect match- but we wouldn’t recommend her for a first dog to a toddler. Taylor is not recommended for a home with cats, she was a little too interested in our house cat Tom. Taylor Snift says YOU BELONG WITH ME! Adopt Taylor Snift and bring endless love and joy and love into your life! We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Apply here https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/655cc4b27c89ed26c9084c5d Adoption Application Questions? Story
Introducing Janet, the heart-stealing pittie chihuahua mix! Janet is around 10 months old, and an absolute wonder dog- great with humans of all ages, dogs from puppy to senior, and cats. Janet has the playful spirit to spend hours outdoors with you, the stamina for long hikes, and a love for water that will make beach days with her a blast! She’s affectionate and cuddly enough to enjoy a lazy morning in bed, but energetic enough to enjoy days out and about. She’s the full package! Janet is the life of the party with her dog friends. She is so dog-friendly that she is perfect for doggy day care. Janet is used daily by our behavior team for new-dog-intake behavioral assessments! Janet meets new dogs every day to welcome them into our program, help us learn about their behaviors and personalities, and teach the newcomers that the rescue is a fun and safe environment. Because of her, hundreds of dogs' lives have been saved. Janet shares her food, toys, and space with all dog friends. It doesn't matter their age, sex, or size. She’s a sweetheart and a social butterfly! It is so fun to see her run and romp around the yards with her friends. She likes to play tag and chase. If it's raining? Even better! She runs straight to those puddles and splashes around. Janet has a childlike personality that will bring such joy into your life, when playing in puddles, Janet will come back to you to make sure you are watching her. It is so adorable! Did we mention how much she loves people?! Every single day when we go up to her crate she is quietly waiting, no messes, and wiggles her body for us to let her out! Janet walks great on the leash and makes sure to greet people on her walk with a big smile. If you let her go say hi to your friends she will! We absolutely love this girl at Three Little Pitties. Janet is very gentle with children. She has lived with a 10 and 2 year old. She constantly visits with a 3 year old kid as well. He loves to walk her! Janet is good with cats, she peacefully coexists with our resident house cat, she doesn’t have much interest in engaging with him at all, but is happy and content to share the couch with him! Though Janet is sweet, she's looking for a family ready to guide her through the puppy stages with training, socialization, and the dedicated care a young dog needs. Janet has lived in boarding most of her time with us, she is crate trained but is still learning what being "house trained" is. Consistency and routine is key! Janet's adoption promises unconditional love, endless snuggles, and kisses galore. She's looking forward to joining a family that cherishes walks and has the patience to let her blossom at her own pace. Janet has the independence and love-for-her-humans that would allow her to thrive as an only-child, but the social ability and kid and cat-friendliness to flourish as a family dog. With a commitment to house training from her adoptive family, she's set to become a loyal and loving companion. If you have been looking for a dog that will get along with your dog, message us so we can help guide you. Janet is amazing with dogs! If you’re looking for a well-rounded adventure dog with a healthy appreciation for couch potato time, a lovebug and a water dog, a socialite with unique beauty and charm, Janet is the girl for you! Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
