We rescued her from a beeeder/puppy mill but she is good with our heeler and any large dog just not with small dogs. I have pugs and she does not like small dogs. I can’t keep her since it’s difficult to keep the small ones away from her. She is fixed and is very loving.

He is a truly striking, unique dog in appearance who looks like a super sized Bull Terrier. Bruno is still young and needs a loving, stable home to blossom into a confident, happy dog! 1 year, 87 lbs Neutered male Stunning “super sized” Bull Terrier with big feet, gorgeous black and white coat Friendly young adult dog who is overwhelmed in the noisy, stressful shelter environment He can be cautious and does not show well in kennel due to some possible barrier reactivity Better out in the yard, solicited play with other dogs Friendly once he builds trust, puts some time in with this dog and he’ll be super loyal Does not like being approached overhead, may be cautious with new people so he is recommended for an adults only home at this time Signs of housebreaking Young and a blank slate - will need leash training and basic manners training Wonderful dog who just needs some TLC from his forever person or family ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story

Rocky is a sweet, affectionate, and devoted dog who wants nothing more than to be in the same room as his human. Where ever you go, he will follow. That's how much he attaches to you. He has a very sweet way of sitting, gazing into your eyes, and giving you his paw to let you know he'd like some attention and affection. You'll melt when he looks into your eyes with devotion. He get's very wiggly and excited to see you when you come home from work. You will feel so loved by him. Rocky loves sun bathing in the backyard and he gets oh so adorably excited when he thinks it's time for a car ride. The destination doesn't matter. It's the ride itself he longs for. He's always up for a ride. Like most bulldogs, he's not much of a walker. He prefers to take long naps throughout the day. If he doesn't want to continue walking, he will become stubborn. He's very food motivated, so training him is relatively easy. He still needs to work on "wait." Rocky loves the attention of humans. He doesn't care too much for the attention or company of other dogs. Rocky doesn't like it when i give my other dog attention and will attack. He will do best as the only dog in the home. He's not been in the company of cats, so that's TBD. He is very cooperative to bathe. He gets high marks from the groomers. But if you'd like to bathe him yourself, he'll be more than happy to comply. He's accustomed to sleeping in a crate at night, and is happy to have his own little space. But he does perfectly well sleeping on the floor without a crate. Medical: He gets a Cytopoint injection every 4-6 weeks to curb itching, irritated skin. I've tried all sorts of different dog foods, even hydrolyzed protein to eliminate the skin issues, but to no avail. His ears need frequent cleaning. August 17, 2024, 5:32 pm
