This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post.   Do you want a dog that is 60% couch potato and 40% goofball? That's me! I am a beautiful, AKC registered Bull Terrier that loves relaxing, playing soccer by myself or with a human, only bark when I hear something suspicious, and love to play with cats. I don't like other dogs, and under no circumstances should I be around them...I'm top dog and want to be your only love. While I'm not good with small children (I don't like my tail, paws, nor ears touched) I love older kids that can understand my quirks. I like walks and don't pull, bark, or lung, as I just want to enjoy the scenery with you. My favorite things are my bed, balls, food, and car rides! I need a home that won't yell at me, as I am a sensitive fella and that will make me anxious and defensive. I do fantastic with positive training and am goofball that spins around and hops when you playfully spank my strong back legs. I "grumble" like a bear a lot to tell you how happy I am or that I need something, and I'm super strong, so no soft toys. As a Bull Terrier, I have seasonal allergies and yeast, but a little benadryl is what the vet says I need. Do not try to clean my ears, it makes me extremely nervous and defensive, but sending me to the groomers is okay as long as they know that. From the foster: Mash came to Colorado Puppy Rescue after being abandoned in a dog park. He is healing from this traumatic experience (He had surgery from a fractured hip, he was treated for mange and his skin is healing beautifully, and he was neutered - that is a lot for a pup that is just about 7 months old!). Mash Tater (Mash) is a love! He plays hard and loves his toys. Mash is our very first foster and if we did not have a reactive dog in the house, we would be foster fails. He wants everyone he sees on walks to greet him including canine friends. He wants to be outside with his people. He is hilarious when he romps around the backyard with his toys. Mash is going to make a family very happy! Mash is probably a Bull Terrier – AKC (American Kennel Club) comment - About the Breed Among the most comical and mischievous citizens of dogdom, the Bull Terrier is playful and endearing, sometimes stubborn, but always devoted. These unique ‘eggheads’ are exuberant, muscular companions who thrive on affection and exercise. These descriptions fit Mash to a tee! He will need to continue to be trained, but he is trainable and he wants to please! Greetings and salutations, Colorado, it’s me, Gonzo! I like to fancy myself a courteous and honorable gent, and my mom always told me begging is bad manners, but the Underdogs assured me that begging for a hero to help save you is the exception to that rule. Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Gonzo and I’m a 2-3 year-old gentle giant Boxer/American Bulldog mix buddy and I'm crossing all my paws for a hero foster or adopter. My Underdogs foster folks can only surmise that I was once somebody’s well-loved guy before I ended up in the dog clink.  I have impeccable bathroom manners, walk politely on leash and lounge quietly on my dog bed.  I’ll never know why my previous peoples stopped loving me and why they left me to wander the cold winter streets alone. What I do know, though, is that I’ve never stopped loving the peoples, ALL the peoples. Because man alive, do I love them! I could sweetly lean into them for pets and cuddles all day long. And if they gave me proper permission, I’d also happily cover them in my signature Gonzo smooches. It’s also my sole mission in life to make them laugh with my hilarious antics and sweet demeanor. I'm a calm dude in the home, but I also love to go for runs, walks and hikes. Basically, I'm down for all the Colorado adventuring.  I do well around other good fit dog friends, but my best fit home may be one where I'm your only four-legged best bud. Believe me, I've got so much love to give, one Gonzo guy is all you'll ever need.
