Story
Have you ever seen a dog TIPTOE? Sandy will quietly and, oh-so slowly, tiptoe through the yard in search of lizards. This beautiful redhead is just full of personality. If she wants your attention or would like to persuade you to pet her, Sandy will gently tap you with her paw. Get out the leash for her beloved walks and she will talk to you about the walk all the way to the door! In addition to her beauty and fun personality, she is a thoughtful roommate who will not chew or dig, is completely housebroken, and is comfortable in her crate.Sandy is okay with other dogs given a proper introduction. If you are looking for a beautiful, loving companion with a great personality, Sandy could be your perfectmatch!  If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  Hope to see you soon!  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application     ##1870399##

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Freya has been through a lot in her young life. She was originally living with a homeless person who died so she ended up in a rural shelter. We saved her from euthanasia as she was exhibiting signs of stress!! She would suck on her tail for comfort. Freya was flourishing in a caring boarding facility where she is doing very well at learning to be a dog and have fun. She is now in a temporary foster home with 2 dogs and a cat. She watches the cat and is very curious. With supervision there have been no issues. She loves the attention from kids, best to be older, dog savvy - 10 years old + as she can be mouthy. On a day trip, taken out by one of our volunteers, they said: She was super sweet all day, barely tugged on the leash towards the end and didn’t act anxious at all. She loved hanging out next to the water at the few parks we went to and enjoys tug of war as well! She’s definitely a wind in her hair type of girl and likes her head out the window, also super curious with every flower she came across Freya is still just a baby learning the world isn't such a bad place. Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
This happy girl lives up to her name, a sassy personality indeed. Sassafras is a 7-year-old beauty, with a brilliant smile that brightens anyone's day. She is the life of the party and loves to be the center of attention. She can not wait to go outside and either go in the yards and sniff everything possible, or go on a brisk walk, leading the way. Sassy is protective of her space and loyal to her friends but will welcome new people into her circle with a slow introduction. She doesn't seem to mind the company of some canines, but we have found her to be selective and she would prefer to have the people all to herself. She adores toys and goes for the stuffed squeaky toys every time. She is very treat motivated, which is helpful in her learning of basic obedience. Curling up in a comfy bed or cuddled up with a friend is the best way to end her day. If you're looking for that missing piece of love in your life, Sassafras could be the perfect dose to fill your heart. For an appointment to meet Sassafras, please submit the adoption application (no commitment) found on our website, www.satchelslastresort.org, and an adoption counselor will be in touch.

Story
ADOPTION PENDING Thumbelina / Indian Rocks Beach, FL Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: English Bull Dog Mix Age: currently 9 weeks – DOB 5-29-24 Sex: Female spayed Weight: 10.2 lb currently – for an adult weight 30-50 lbs Fenced Yard recommended DOGS: She would like another dog to play with in her new home. Kids: Respectful 10+ Get ready for 100% cuteness overload! We’d like you to meet little “Thumbelina”! She’s a 9 week old sweet and very active English Bulldog “mix” baby. Her original “home” was a breeder, who surrendered her for Euthanasia due to her eye not being “correct”. What a crock of crap, right? UGH…She has a little piece of skin over a tiny piece of her eye that our Vet said was absolutely no big deal and doesn’t hinder her sight in any way. Ok, enough of that. Let’s talk about this precious little girl. She’s a pistol for sure, all full of herself and super active. She’s a very confident puppy, and her foster home is working on her harness and leash walking, a true work in progress! She’s good with other pups her size, but boy oh boy, those little “toofers” are sharp, sharp sharp! She’s gets a hold of you, and you’re gonna know it! Her new family must be 100% committed to working on all her puppy training with her, there will be no exceptions. We are also looking for a family that has a proven track record with this breed. Everyone loves an adorable puppy, but this breed does need someone experienced. Her family should be an adult only home, or possibly a home with older kids, says 14+ might be considered. Thumbelina “Lena” as her foster Mom calls her, would like a young, active family to grow up with, one who will shower her with the love, affection, time and patience a puppy needs. A family where someone either works from home or works part time will be given preference. Work, personal and Veterinary references will be checked. “Lena” is spayed, up to date with age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and has been started on her heartworm and flea prevention. If you feel you’d be a great match for Thumbelina, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue.
