Story
Kimber is a very sweet female cuddle bug that is a 5 + years old bull terrier mix that weighs 55 pounds. House trained, crate trained, and leash trained! If you want a true companion and a dog who is obedience trained, meet Kimber! Our girl was stressed at the kennel and losing weight, but now she is in a foster home where she can relax, gain weight, and get good quality sleep. Her foster mom says she is the sweetest and a Very Good Girl. Kimber is truly a WONDERFUL dog. A real companion who is loyal, obedient, loving, playful, and protective. Her ideal home is where a pet parent / foster would be working remotely without any pesky animals hogging her love and attention. She prefers a home with calm and quiet since small rambunctious children make her nervous. LOVE: When it comes to love, Kimber has no limit. Her favorite part of the day is when her people pet her or touch her. If she had her way, she would cuddle with her people all day! Kimber definitely likes to follow her special person around, even if its just to the next room. She loves to be with her people, always. Kimber happily goes into her kennel overnight and anytime she is askedTRAINING: Kimber spent approximately 9 months at the Marion prison where she was in the training program. Her handler taught her very well! Kimber knows the basic commands both verbally and with hand signals. She is pretty good with 'come', but she does better with a 'kiss kiss' sound. She is not a door dasher. When on leash, she does pull because the world is just so exciting! Kimber is very obedient in the kitchen. She is tall enough to reach the food on the counter, but she knows it isn't hers, so she doesn't touch it. OTHER DOGS AND CATS:. Kimber is OK with dogs socially as long as they keep their distance, but she wants to be the only dog in the home. Cats, well she thinks they are annoying and should not be in her home. Woof. KIDS: Kimber is uncomfortable when very young kids are playing rough or crawling around, so no babies, toddlers or young children. She would do fine with calm older children or an adult only house. If you're interested in meeting this loving girl, apply at www.caninecollective.org. She deserves a home!Note: Without a DNA test or direct information about the parents, the breed listed is based on our best guess or from the use of a breed identification app

Story
Meet Rocky he is a 3 year old boxer pit bull mix. He is a very sweet boy that I found running loose in Westerville Ohio. Ive had him now for 5 months. The only reason I’m not keeping him is space my financials and I already have 2 dogs. But back to Rocky I believe he was raised with an iron fist. He can be startled by things but is easily assured. He loves bones and toys!! Overall a great dog loves to lay on the couch and prefers sleeping in the bed while touching you, lol. He has learned that talking to him sternly doesn’t mean that he’s gonna get hit or he’s in trouble. It just means he needs to listen and focus and he listens really well. I think he would be great for a young person. That’s just looking to have a companion. I don’t have kids so I say no kids just b/c he doesn’t like to be pulled on,moved/pushed. The truth is he just wants to be loved petted some treats toys and you will make him so happy. I just want the best for him he deserves to know the best life a dog can have.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Update: Pudge went through an allergy test and it revealed he was allergic to cats, dust and storage mites.  He will be getting an allergy shot to help with his itchy skin that lasts 3 months.  Adopters without cats will only be considered for Pudge's wellbeing.  Brief Description: This is "Pudge." What you see is what you get...easy going, calm, well...lazy. :) Likes: Being a couch potato, chewing on Nylabones, eating, sleeping...he's a guy with simple pleasures. Dislikes: Having is nails clipped. Having to wait more than 30 seconds for his food when it's being prepared. Personality: Calm. Chill. Quiet (except when food is being prepared for him). Can be stubborn! Temperament: Laid back. Not much upsets or excites Pudge. Energy level: None. Favorite activities: EATING! Watching TV on the couch with his human while he chews a bone. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Cats: unknown; Dogs: great - no issues; Kids: unknown but suspect he would be absolutely fine. Haven't found anything so far Pudge isn't good with. He doesn't particularly care to have his nails clipped or baths but he tolerates both. House trained: Working on it and making good progress. It is uncertain where Pudge came from and/or if he's ever been house trained so, therefore, he was started from scratch and he's come a long way. With a consistent schedule and time to adjust he should do well. Crate trained: YES! Pudge loves his crate. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence?): No. Walks well on a leash?: When he wants to. Pudge doesn't pull or fight. He just won't walk with his human if it's not where he wants to go. Been working on that and he's doing much better. Challenges: Getting him to socialize more with people and pets. Pudge mostly keeps to himself. He is starting to make attempts to play with the other dogs and humans here and there but needs encouragement. Pudge will need lots of encouragement to get any exercise. Any medical issues?:  Pudge is currently being treated for a persistent skin infection secondary to suspected allergies. He is much improved from when he first arrived. Pudge has recovered well from recent bilateral entropion. Eye irritation and drainage is markedly decreased since the surgery. Pudge has been on a long-term antibiotic treatment and, as a result, he has been having persistent soft stools, however, it's been controlled with feeding Science Diet I/D food and Pepto-Bismol. What would be the best kind of home?:  Pudge would be perfectly happy to be an only dog getting all the attention lavished upon him; however, he is also fine with the other dogs in the household. Pudge is ideal for someone who wants a calm, easy going companion. He is not a hiking, running, or hunting dog by any means.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. Story
Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs around 75 pounds. Gypsy has been with us for 3 years, and we don't know why she has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog we have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with older children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. To emphasize...although Gypsy generally gets along with all dogs (she currently lives in a home with 14 other dogs both large and small and there are no problems), She either needs to be the only dog in the house or only paired with one other large male dog. Gypsy has been with the rescue for 3 years and a change will be scary. She needs an experienced adopter who is patient understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to get comfortable in a new home. She is a great dog for a single person or couple. Any children should be over 10 years of age. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to several scheduled stops in Ohio - including but not limited to - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron OH Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl.
