Story
Cookie came to us from Victoria Animal Control after being hit by a car. She was unable to stand and was in severe pain. Luckily, she found a foster home where she was able to heal and turn into her sweet self.  Cookie is a little skittish at first but is very sweet once she’s settled.  Because she’s sensitive and shy, we think she’d do best in a quiet home as the only dog. August 18, 2024, 9:46 pm

Story
Chico is a 3 year old intact male. He is a full breed English Bull Terrier. His breeder is from Oklahoma and he comes from a purebred bloodline. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old, but as time has passed we have become increasingly allergic to his fur. He sheds all year round. Chico is very energetic and playful. He is house trained. We would love for him to go to a family that will love him. He loves children but is not good with other animals.

Story
Introducing Nikita, a gentle soul with a heart of gold, seeking a loving forever home where he can flourish and thrive. Nikita is currently shining in a foster home, where he's learning to navigate the world with curiosity and love. While he's initially timid around new people, Nikita's heart opens up once he establishes trust, especially with women. With patient socialization efforts, he's gradually learning to embrace new experiences and build confidence in unfamiliar situations. In his foster home, Nikita enjoys the company of cats and has developed a playful friendship with them. He's also great with older children, although he may feel uneasy around younger ones due to their energetic nature. However, he's making positive progress by being exposed to various environments, such as baseball games, where he's learning to be more at ease around children. Nikita's daily routine includes enriching activities like swimming in the pool, playing fetch with his beloved rubber chicken, and engaging in spirited wrestling matches with his human siblings. He's an inquisitive pup who delights in exploring his surroundings and cherishing moments of affection with his loved ones. While he's still refining his leash manners and can be reactive on walks, Nikita is diligently working with trainers to overcome these challenges and become a well-mannered companion. He's mastered basic obedience commands like sitting and shaking paws, eager to impress with his intelligence and eagerness to learn. Nikita's ideal home would be with someone who can provide ample playtime, companionship, and understanding of his need for gradual socialization. He thrives in an environment where he feels safe and loved, with opportunities for daily walks and engaging activities to keep his curious mind stimulated. With his gentle nature, intelligence, and willingness to learn, Nikita is sure to capture the hearts of his future adopters and bring endless joy and companionship into their lives. Don't miss the chance to welcome this sweet soul into your home and experience the unconditional love he has to offer!

Story
Bones is your average bull terrier. He knows basic commands, is house trained, does wonderful with people, and does well with larger, older children. He is a freight train with no breaks on occasion. He has a super sweet personality and is just a plan joy to have around. He loves toys and treats and enjoys tug-o-war as a reward for good behavior. He shows a very high prey drive and will chase small critters, usually without intention to harm them. He has no off switch. His zoomies are a sight to behold but he has no idea when to shut off play mode until he's completely worn out. He needs a home that can keep his brain as well as his body busy on a normal schedule. We would be willing to consider a home with another dog if the dog matches his energy or is very very passive. He tends to be to much for most dogs and hasn't learned the cue that other dogs are done playing. Bull terrier experience is a MUST for his new family. He is not a dog for the faint of heart or new BT owners.
