Meet Mr. People Pleaser, Milo IV! This tall glass of Oreo milkshake is 3 years old with a heart of gold as big as his bowling ball head. Milo was found chained and starving in LA after his previous owners abandoned him. He was placed in a kill shelter with only 3 hours left to live. We didnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t hold it against him that he was from California, so we rescued him and gave him a big Texas welcome as a foster family. Milo is a gentle soul who aims to please. He loves waving you over and showing off his tummy for belly rubs. This adorable slice of meatloaf enjoys walks in the morning and then snoozing all day. After heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s finished catching up on his Zâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s, he loves catching toys tossed into the air by the children. Milo is submissive and gets along great with our two rescue dogs. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s both house and leash-trained. Our dogs claim to have taught Milo tricks, but really the credit goes to Night and Day K9 Training who helped teach Milo sit, stay, lay down, and to wait patiently away from the front door before being released to go on walks. They offer 2 free private lessons to his adopted family to help transition him into his new home. Miloâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s hobbies include car rides and bath time. Yes, he actually hops into the shower willingly and stands there patiently while we shampoo him. Afterwards, he gets the squeaky clean zoomies! Meet Franklin! Franklin is a 8 year old, 95 pound, Anatolian Shepherd Mix. He was rescued in the nick of time from the euthanasia list in July 2022 and is ready for his forever home and a family of his own.We unfortunately know little of his past, as he was found as a stray, but he certainly does not act like a senior. Franklin is truly a fun-loving guy. He LOVES to play with other dogs and gets along with everyone, but can come off a little strong with his playful energy. He is a big goofball and does not have a mean bone in his body, but he would probably do best with older kids just due to his size. He is a very sweet guy and loves to scope out and curl up in the comfiest of spots. He is a big fan of toys, chews, and bones, but I recommend the tougher-duty ones, as he has been known to do a number on plush toys.Franklin is potty-trained and crate-trained. We crate him overnight and while we are not home, and he is great about going right into his crate when told. He does well on a leash. He has not gotten out much recently, but I am sure he would appreciate some more adventures. He has been around and done well with horses.
