Story
Wanted: Cat whisperer of magical proportions to draw this gorgeous girl out of her shell. This girl needs a talented purrson with much patience who can love a girl for her beauty with all of her limitations. This stunning girl does not want pets or treats and is happy to just do her own thing. Her early life experiences have left her traumatized enough that she is afraid to open up and relax, letting someone behind her barriers. She may always be an aloof girl and not want attention and needs a purrson willing to love her anyway. She is stunning and has never uttered a hiss or growl but will run like the dickens or use her back legs to spring off you when you go to sit her down after she trusts you enough for forced snuggles. She is a gentle soul but needs an equally gentle soul to appreciate who she is and what she is able to give . Are you the magical and gentle soul that is meant to be soulmates with this sweet but traumatized girl - the one who can love her even without her being able to show you in conventional ways that she loves you? Story
Look out! Here comes Apricot! He was found in a vehicle’s engine in a busy downtown area by the vehicle owner’s dog, Percy. Percy would not get into the vehicle and kept barking and pulling on his leash at the front of the car. The owner looked under the car, checked the tires, finally popped the hood and there was Apricot, meowing up a storm. He was almost named Suburban but Apricot, to agree with his orange, won the naming contest. Apricot was lonely and scared but has adjusted to his new, cozy life in the home of a foster with numerous kitties to help guide and comfort him during this transition. He has settled in very well and is bonded with his new friend, Burrito. When he is not sleeping on top of the warm laundry pile, he is helping fold the laundry. It’s not working out very well. He unfolds more than the folds, by a lot. He also likes to sleep on top of the mail, often eating the bills, which I don’t object to. I just wish he would pay them instead. Apricot has been such a joy to my life. And soon to be a joy to your life!   If you are interested in adopting Apricot, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
Parkour Jack is part of a bonded pair of brothers with his identical twin Maurice - and they have a gorgeous sister named Twinx (who looks like an Egyptian Mau, in case anyone needs a trio of gorgeous babies). Jack spends all his time practicing his parkour and aerial skills.  Wand toys in motion are the secret to his parkour and aerial training.  Jack puts elite athlete level focus into his training routine, even the smelliest, tastiest wet cat food does not distract him. He hopes to see parkour in the Olympics one day and to represent the US on the team.  Between sets he also loves a good rub down, including a good belly rub but his lap sitting days are far into the future. All of his practice happens with his brother Maurice and they snuggle with their arms around each other to sleep. Their sister, Twinx, cheers them on and they are the best of snuggly entertainment and love.    If you are interested in adopting Parkour Jack, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption.
