Story
Approximate Date of Birth:8/29/2021 Description:   My story begins with my siblings, and I being taken care of by a kind older lady, who helped us figure out a way off the streets. I'm by far the most observant and intelligent of my siblings and will try to find the highest perches in the house to be able to gaze down at my new domain. I am very thoughtful when presented with something or someone new and will be prone to assessing from a distance before I make the decision to interact on my own terms. Once you get the chance to know me, though, you will see that I am very gentle and empathetic and am always willing to brush against your legs and back to offer quiet reassurance. I love going inside boxes and running around; my favorite toys are the ones like wand toys or ribbons that you can participate in with me, but I also love ball tracks and puzzles when left to my own devices. Come by and say hi to me today! Words to Describe Me: vigilant, quiet, agile Favorite Place to Sleep: inside a box that has a blanket or a covered cat bed Favorite Toy: chasing after a wand toy/ribbon or batting at a toy through holes in a box Kitty's Likes: toys and cat trees, staring at fans (ceiling or on the floor), chin scratches Kitty's Dislikes: being held for too long Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: play time, petting when she's in the mood Good with Cats: Likes cats given a proper introduction.  Good with Dogs: Unknown. Good with Children: Can live in a house with children over the age of 12. Companion Animal:   Not necessary.                          Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Penny is FELV positive so she would need to be an only kitty or with another FELV positive cat. Veterinary care will be provided for this feline throughout their life by Saving One Life.   Learn more:   https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-leukemia-virus Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. Story
Approximate Date of Birth:7/1/2024 Description:   Coral is an adorable, spirited little calico with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her playful and affectionate nature shines through. Coral enjoys spending time with her siblings, racing around and chasing them in delightful kitty playtime adventures. Toys of all kinds are her favorite—especially if they involve a bit of a chase! This precious girl is also a big fan of Churo treats, which are her ultimate indulgence. They’re a great way to win her over as she warms up to her new family! Coral has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), but that doesn’t stop her from being a joyful, playful kitten. Coral can have many wonderful years ahead of her, and with the right care, she’ll continue to thrive. Coral would do best in a home with other FeLV-positive cats, or as your one and only furry friend.  Adopting an FeLV-positive kitten like Coral means you’re giving a loving, deserving kitty a chance at happiness. With time, patience, and lots of love, Coral will be a sweet, playful companion who brings joy to your home every day. Words to Describe Me: Playful, affectionate, shy at first Favorite Place to Sleep: Kitty tower and a fluffy kitty bed Favorite Toy: Fuzzy ball jungle ball Kitty's Likes: Treats and playing fuzzy ball Kitty's Dislikes: Belly rubs Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Churo treats Good with Cats:  Likes cats given a proper introduction. Good with Dogs:    Likes dogs given a proper introduction.  Good with Children: Can live with children over the age of 5. Coral tested positive for        FeLV                therefore she would need to be in a home with other FeLV kitties (or adopt one of the other FeLV kitties in the rescue) or she can be your one and only girl.  Saving One Life will provide veterinary care throughout this feline's life. Story
Lily is a joyful, plump Calico cat with a stunning patchwork of orange, black, and white fur. Her round belly gently rounds out beneath her coat, adding to her charm. She lounges like royalty in the sun, savoring life’s simple pleasures. Her eyes gleam with warmth when her humans are near, and she loves being petted, especially behind the ears. The sensation fills her with happiness, causing her to stick her tongue out in contentment, purring loudly and tilting her head to invite more affection. Lily enjoys long naps, curling up in cozy spots to recharge for her next play session or a round of Temptations treats, which she adores. The crinkle of the bag excites her every time. She’s very particular about her litter box and insists on only the cleanest. While she loves her humans, Lily isn’t fond of other cats, often hissing at them if they get too close—she prefers being the only cat. With her humans, she’s playful, chasing a laser light with enthusiasm as she leaps.

Story
Lillie was abandoned by her mother as a stray cat at about 6 weeks, and was found stuck in a brick wall. Lillie is a sweet and loving cat, but can be shy around new people. Once she warms up to you, however, she will be incredibly friendly. Lillie has not been declawed, and has known nothing but a loving home.

Story
Cookie showed up in our neighborhood over a year ago under a year old. Very friendly, but we already have five resident cats and did not feel we could take her in. We did our best to feed and hydrate her over the harsh Phoenix summer. She became more and more attached to us. Due to hunting Coyotes, other feral cats in our area and the fact that she would dart out into the street in front of cars, we believed she would not survive much longer living outside. In Nov of 2024 we brought her indoors. We took her the to vet, got her tested and up to date with shots and have been attempting to incorporate her in with our other 5 cats. Unfortunately, there are simply too many cats and behavioral issues are developing with all of them. We have been patient. It has been nearly 4 months and things are getting worse with the overall dynamic. Cookie is sweet, rambunctious, loves to run and chase laser dots and rattle balls. She uses her litterbox well. She deserves a peaceful loving home.

Story
We got Tigerlily as a kitten 8 years ago from Petsmart rescue. She was great for a few years. But was harassed by one of our other dogs. Not harmed, but she didn't appreciate his attention. She eventually stayed in her owner's bedroom. Rarely ventures out. Very affectionate with her owner, but not so much with anyone else. We are moving cross country in May and don't think she will tolerate the move.

Story
Cami is ready for her forever home. She’s a beautiful calico girl, born approximately 11/5/2021. Cami’s spine is damaged but she gets around just fine. She does need her bladder and bowels expressed. She’s on a good routine now and spends the day in a diaper and sleeps without a diaper in a kennel at night. She’s a little shy with new people and she loves other gentle kitties. She is spayed, current on vaccines, tested Negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. We can teach you how to care for her! She’s adorable!! November 5, 2024, 10:32 am

Story
We adopted Houdini from a rescue organization who found her as a kitten and gave her the birthdate of March, 2020. She likes to hide and reappear, hence, we named her Houdini. She has beautiful markings and is very well behaved as she does not abuse houseplants or furniture. She uses her cat scratchers and litter box. She is not the sit in your lap type of cat and is very independent, but will sit and watch tv with you. She keeps herself very well groomed with her medium length fur. Houdini is very healthy with no special dietary needs. Feel free to reach out via text or call 480-734-0544 or via email: christiecano@msn.com

Story
Hi! Maverick and Jefferson are a bonded pair of orange/buff tabby cats. We have had them since they 4months old. They are just fine with each other but don’t get along at all with other cats or animals. Seeking a new home for them as they are more aggressive with our other smaller cat. They do need to stay together and would do best in a quiet home with no kids. They mostly hide from our two tween/teenagers and are skiddish to noises. Seeking a new loving home for them!

I would do well in a home with another chill and relaxed kitty friend but I would also do great on my own! If I sound like your cup of tea, then come and meet me!!
