UNFORTUNATELY -- WE CANNOT ADOPT TO ANYONE IN MA DUE TO MA STATE LAWS. NAME: Peach Approx Birth Date: 7/17/2022 BREED: Domestic Short Hair  BIO: Peach is the mother of a litter of six very sweet kittens (Lyche, Plum, Cherry, Apricot, Nectarine,Mango). She and her kittens were found outside then placed in a foster home where she did an amazingjob of raising her kittens. After her time as diligent mother, her kittens are adoption age and she’slooking for a home of her own. Peach doesn’t like to be touched, but she loves to play and relax aroundthe house. She’s comfortable being around people, but just doesn’t want to interact with them. Sheabsolutely loves other cats and is very playful, a real “cat’s cat.” Peach would best be suited to a barn catlifestyle, an indoor lifestyle with someone that has a lonely single cat, or with someone who is alrightwith a cat that doesn’t want to be touched.  Whe would love to be adopted with one of her kittens!! As you see in the photos, she is always with one of her babies and truly enjoys their company. THIS CAT IS LOCATED IN CENTRAL ARKANSAS.  Transport to CT area weekly, weather permitting. Story
Tika Biography Tika is a very special gal, and a success story.  She showed up at my back door along with her Mama and brother when 5 months old. Two and half years old now, she has beat the odds, the only surviving member of her family and transformed from feral to domesticated feline.  Once she caught on that there is a better life than sleeping outside in inclement weather and constantly on the lookout for the scary critters in the woods, she was a convert.  She is a tortie without the ‘tude, a smart, personable and pretty lass, playful but not rambunctious, affectionate and loving though not highly demanding of attention.  Happy to entertain herself most of the time, just hang out near me (or tucked behind me on the desk chair), watch the world go by from the patio, or nap under a bush.  At night, she loves to snuggle up either in her cat bed or next to me.  Tika has the softest, most delightful tiny meows, chirps and thrills, and a beautiful purr. She talks enough to let you know what’s on her mind. Amazingly, she was born naturally well-mannered.  No bad habits of  jumping on the kitchen counter, or damaging curtains, furniture.   She likes to come and go from the house during the day to the yard.  So she is best suited to a home with an enclosed patio (temporary or permanent), large enough to give her space to explore, perch and view nature.  If she can come and go via a cat door to and from the house to the enclosed patio, this is even better.  Being shy and a bit scared of strangers, She needs a quiet, low-key home with loving and caring people (one or two).  No dogs, and for now, no other cats.  She needs a safe, welcoming environment - inside at night, during severe weather, and well, just all the time!   ##2149386##
