Story
Meet Opal! Opal is a gorgeous tortie cat with a stunning black, brown and orange swirl coat! She is around 10 months old and weighs 8 pounds. She was rescued from a hoarding situation along with many other cats. She landed in a wonderful foster home and she's settling in nicely! Opal is on the shy side so she will do best in a quiet home. She does fine with other cats but dogs and small kids would overwhelm her. She is a very sweet girl though and needs someone who will give her all the love and attention! Opal is spayed, up to date on shots, combo tested negative and microchipped. Opal is currently located in TN and will be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $250 which includes prior vetting and transport north. All cats and kittens will only be adopted out as an INDOOR cats where they will be safest! We don't want anything bad to happen to these precious pets. If you are interested in opening your home to this wonderful kitty please visit our website at www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an application to adopt.

Story
Hi there! My name is Branson. My adventure began on 2.15.24 when I was picked up off the streets as a stray cat. Just five days later, a wonderful family adopted me as an indoor cat. Things were going great-I really enjoyed my new family, and they seemed to enjoy me too. However, our time together was short-lived. On 4.26.24, they had to bring me back because their child developed allergies to me. I was so sad to leave them.I like being both indoors and outdoors; I don't like being cooped up inside all the time. I get along well with other cats and even some dogs. I also like children, as long as they understand that I'm an adult cat and need my space when I've had enough-trust me, you'll know when that is!I'm neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and tested negative for FeLv and FIV. I'm ready to roll into a new home where I can find the perfect balance of love, play, and outdoor adventure. If you're looking for a friendly, adaptable cat, I might just be the perfect fit for you!

Story
My name's Cannon, and though I'm just a whisker over a year old, I've already seen a bit of the world-or at least, a few different homes. I sport a coat of fiery red tabby, as if the flames of embers themselves decided to dance across my fur.I arrived at my latest abode on April 25th, 2024, bleary-eyed and uncertain of my surroundings. Waking up this morning, the place seemed unfamiliar, and I found solace in hiding behind the toilet in the bathroom, accompanied by a fellow feline friend. Can you blame me? New places can be intimidating, even for a curious cat like myself. But as the staff came in to tend to us, I soon realized they were pretty swell. They've taken care of the essentials-neutering, vaccinations-and soon enough, I'll be parasite-free with a clean bill of health. Not too shabby, huh?Today, I mustered up the courage to explore beyond the confines of my hiding spot. Venturing into the common area, I scoped things out, assessing the layout and potential hangout spots. Nice digs, but I've got dreams of grandeur. I'm picturing a new home with towering windows that let in streams of sunlight and high ceilings that give me plenty of space to stretch and climb. Maybe a cozy shelf perched up high where I can lounge and watch the world go by at my leisure.I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of visitors, hoping they'll see the spark in my eyes and the warmth in my heart, and maybe even decide to take me to my forever home-one that's just right for a fiery feline like me.
