Meet Opal! Opal is a gorgeous tortie cat with a stunning black, brown and orange swirl coat! She is around 10 months old and weighs 8 pounds. She was rescued from a hoarding situation along with many other cats. She landed in a wonderful foster home and she's settling in nicely! Opal is on the shy side so she will do best in a quiet home. She does fine with other cats but dogs and small kids would overwhelm her. She is a very sweet girl though and needs someone who will give her all the love and attention! Opal is spayed, up to date on shots, combo tested negative and microchipped. Opal is currently located in TN and will be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $250 which includes prior vetting and transport north. All cats and kittens will only be adopted out as an INDOOR cats where they will be safest! We don't want anything bad to happen to these precious pets. Gene and his sister Rudy were strays in a neighborhood and were caught when they were about 3 months old. Born 3/27/2021. As with most cats, Gene is nosey and has been exploring the house when possible (as you can see from one of the pics). The mother of Pez was a pregnant rescue. The litter of 6  (2 boys & 4 girls, all gingers) have been handled from birth. They are all litter trained, eating dry food with occasional wet food as a treat. They are social and playful.  Pez is sweet with a calm disposition but readily purrs and is playful.  Pez is spayed along with her sister, Mello Yello and ready for adoption!! The boys, Big Red and Spot are also ready for adoption. Contact Desoto Animal Rescue Society to have a meet & greet with the girls, the boys or all four!
