Sassy: Dilute tortious shell/calico mix About 1 1/2 years old Fully vetted…spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea/tick preventative, FIV/FELV negative. Not microchipped yet. Sassy and her mother were rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many stray cats with many being ill.  She was a bit wild but adapted to indoor life fine.  She was quite a little rascal but has calmed down being a petite adult now.  Sassy is very food motivated and loves to play and chase things.  Once acclimated, she is quite loving, likes to be in her foster’s lap and gets along with cats and dogs she knows.  She and her mother aren’t really bonded at this point, so they would do fine being separated.August 18, 2024, 10:08 pm

Mama Calico: Calico anywhere between 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Fully vetted…spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, on flea/tick preventative.  Still needs a microchip. Rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many cats, some very ill. Mama is a sweet, loving girl, but can be persnickety with high strung cats or cats that are prone to fight.  When acclimated and comfortable, she loves attention and being in a lap.  She loves playtime with toys and can sometimes have zoomies from being excited.  She currently lives with 25 other cats and gets along fine with almost all of them.  With acclimation, she really likes dogs and wants to rub on them.  Her daughter Sassy is up for adoption also, but they aren’t  necessarily bonded at this point.August 18, 2024, 10:08 pm

Amira (calico) is a wonderful, sweet cat looking for her forever home. I adopted Amira and her brother Milo (grey kitty) in June from their previous owner, but our existing cat is having a hard time adjusting to them. Amira and Milo must be adopted into a new home together, as they are bonded. They are just over a year old and are up to date on their shots, but their next shots are coming due in August and September. I will reimburse you for those if you provide me receipts. Both are fixed. Their previous owner declawed them (front and back). An ideal home for Amira and her brother would not have any other existing pets. I would hate for them to have to be rehomed yet again for issues relating to existing pets. They deserve better. Would love for them to be adopted into a home where someone is around during the day if possible. Would prefer local to the Raleigh area so that if it doesn't work out, I can easily take them back in and start searching for another home.

We got Cali as a rescue kitten who had been abandoned. She is playful and has been great with our two year old. We are only seeking to rehome her because we recently found out she is diabetic and with another baby on the way we just don’t have capacity to care for her the way she needs.

Peigi is a fantastic kitten who loves nothing more than to be with her human as much as possible. She craves attention and would do well as a solo kitty. She’s not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be picked up, but loves attention and will engage with you and reward you with her curiosity and playfulness. This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her. She is a sweet cuddly cat. She will lay on your lap and let you pet her for hours. She loves to be around people and loves being pet and touched. She doesn't get along with any other cats.

I rescued Tula about 7 years ago from college students keeping her in a dorm room. I was told she was 2 at that time. She has a sweet temperament. Not a huge cuddler, but loves pets on her back! She is strictly an indoor kitty. She has lived with cats and dogs and coexisted well. I am leaving the country to be with my partner who is experiencing immigration challenges and she cannot come with, unfortunately. I would love to find her a good home before I leave!

Niki is almost 7 years old. Her first family had a child that was allergic. My loved ones Alzheimers has caused some stress in our home, which is affecting Niki. I feel that Niki needs a mellow household, and perhaps a homebody that doesnt travel often, if at all (recently she refused to use the litter box in my absence, despite having a cat sitter). Niki will require brushing with a brushing glove, due to her long fur. She likes to have scratches under her chin each morning. She is NOT a lap cat. She will come to you for affection when she wants it. She has used her teeth to let me know that she does not want petted, but has never drawn blood. Niki is in good health, as I and the previous owner use(d) Banfield for regular check-ups. Niki has one eye that weeps, causing a crusty area under her eye, but the vet doesnt seem concerned. She really is a quiet girl, and has rarely gotten into mischief in our care. I hope to find her a loving home that she deserves.

  Meet Gracie, a tiny girl who came into rescue skinny and expecting kittens, even though she was barely more than a kitten herself. The good samaritan who was trying to help her said she was regularly climbing trees to escape stray dogs and coyotes in the area.  Gracie is petite, with the cutest tiny feet and a heart shape on her little nose! She absolutely adores people and makes friends with everyone.  While Gracie is not really a lap cat, she thrives on human companionship and wants to be near her people all the time. Gracie's foster dad works from home several days a week, and he reports that she is an excellent administrative assistant, walking across his keyboard to "correct" his work, making  popular guest appearances on Zoom calls and "sorting" papers for him. She loves to play with a pen or a paper clip, too!  Gracie's ideal home will be with people who are often around to keep her company. She is good with respectful older children and with slow introductions, we think she could easily live with cat-savvy dogs. (There are two in her foster home.) While she does prefer to be the only cat, Gracie has lived with other tolerant cats.  Gracie is about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. LIzabet is a lovely girl looking for her own furever family. She came to our rescue as a pregnant momma cat but lost her kittens. She has been a surrogate mom to many of the little orphans that have come through our rescue but she longs for a home of her own.  She loves belly rubs and cuddle time.
