Peigi is a fantastic kitten who loves nothing more than to be with her human as much as possible. She craves attention and would do well as a solo kitty. She’s not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be picked up, but loves attention and will engage with you and reward you with her curiosity and playfulness. If you’re looking for one princess to spoil, or if you have another calm and laid back kitty in your family, Peigi could be the perfect addition. Story
Sassy: Dilute tortious shell/calico mix About 1 1/2 years old Fully vetted…spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea/tick preventative, FIV/FELV negative. Not microchipped yet. Sassy and her mother were rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many stray cats with many being ill.  She was a bit wild but adapted to indoor life fine.  She was quite a little rascal but has calmed down being a petite adult now.  Sassy is very food motivated and loves to play and chase things.  Once acclimated, she is quite loving, likes to be in her foster’s lap and gets along with cats and dogs she knows.  She and her mother aren’t really bonded at this point, so they would do fine being separated.August 18, 2024, 10:08 pm

Story
Mama Calico: Calico anywhere between 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Fully vetted…spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, on flea/tick preventative.  Still needs a microchip. Rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many cats, some very ill. Mama is a sweet, loving girl, but can be persnickety with high strung cats or cats that are prone to fight.  When acclimated and comfortable, she loves attention and being in a lap.  She loves playtime with toys and can sometimes have zoomies from being excited.  She currently lives with 25 other cats and gets along fine with almost all of them.  With acclimation, she really likes dogs and wants to rub on them.  Her daughter Sassy is up for adoption also, but they aren’t  necessarily bonded at this point.August 18, 2024, 10:08 pm

Story
Amira (calico) is a wonderful, sweet cat looking for her forever home. I adopted Amira and her brother Milo (grey kitty) in June from their previous owner, but our existing cat is having a hard time adjusting to them. Amira and Milo must be adopted into a new home together, as they are bonded. They are just over a year old and are up to date on their shots, but their next shots are coming due in August and September. I will reimburse you for those if you provide me receipts. Both are fixed. Their previous owner declawed them (front and back). An ideal home for Amira and her brother would not have any other existing pets. I would hate for them to have to be rehomed yet again for issues relating to existing pets. They deserve better. Would love for them to be adopted into a home where someone is around during the day if possible. Would prefer local to the Raleigh area so that if it doesn't work out, I can easily take them back in and start searching for another home.

These pups are in Smithfield, North Carolina too!

Story
(Special Adoption Fee) My name is Hunter, and I am a beautiful tabby boy. My estimated date of birth is mid-March 2017. My mom was a feral kitty that lived at a junkyard, but some nice folks helped me escape that life. I am a little bit shy at first, but I love to receive attention which will only make me sweeter. I love belly rubs! I get along great with all my foster siblings. I am ready for my own home now! Are you interested in adopting Hunter or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). Story
(Special Adoption Fee) Mamaria is a long-timer with JCAPL and there is no reason why she should not be adopted. She is estimated to have been born in 2018. She was part of a feral colony, having litter after litter of kittens. JCAPL took them in and found homes for her kittens. Mamaria does her own thing, mostly. She loves canned food and is not an over active kitty. She loves to hang out in the cat trees. She can also be flirty and likes a gentle belly rub now and then. She gets along great with other cats. Mamaria is a low-effort cat and would fit right into a low-energy household. While Mamaria's kittens have all been adopted, it is now her turn to shine. Please consider giving this beautiful, sweet girl the loving home she deserves. She has a sponsor, which means she has a special adoption fee. Are you interested in adopting Mamaria or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. Story
Greetings, hoomans! I'm the one and only Creamsicle!  Listen, I've got a confession to make – I may seem all sweet and sophisticated, but I've got a touch of shyness in my paws!  It's just that life brought me to Bailey's Human Rescue, and I've been waiting for my purrfect family to come and whisk me away to a furrever home for more than THREE WHOLE YEARS! Can you believe it?  Now, don't be fooled by my "serious cat" vibes. I've had my fair share of epic adventures, battling pesky medical stuff like a true superhero!  But thanks to those amazing rescue peeps, I emerged victorious and stronger than ever!  So, here's the deal – when we first meet, you might think I'm a little shy, like a kitten playing hide-and-seek. But once I warm up to you, I'll be a purring machine, giving you ALL the affection you can handle! You see, I'm the kind of kitty who enjoys lazing around with you, binge-watching cat videos on the interwebs – I'm a connoisseur of that stuff!  Now, here's the scoop – I need someone with the patience of a saint and enough love to share with a furry little creature like me. Trust me, it'll be worth it! I'll keep you entertained with my antics, turning your life into a never-ending comedy show!  If you're up for the challenge and you think we could be the puuuurfect match, let's get together and make some magic happen!  Help a cool cat like me out, and share this post with all your buddies! Let them know that I'm looking for a silly, fun-loving family to call my own. Let's do this, furrever homes, here I come!  https://www.baileyshumanrescue.org/former-community-cat
