Story
Skittles is a family cat and his been with my family for most of our lives. I was a teenager when we got her so I do not remember how old she was exactly when we got her. I do know she was still a kitten but more like teenage kitten not baby kitten. She was declawed before she came to us. Our older cat actually was not happy with Skittles so eventually the other cat was rehomed and Skittles stayed with us. Throughout the years she has lived with my mom and sister and now myself. I can no longer house her due to my living arrangements. My old apartment closed without much notice so I had to find a new place to live and they do not allow pets. She is much older now and does not cause any trouble at all. She is litterbox trained. For some reason when she leaves the litter she tracks a little bit of it out. She also eats too fast so I feed her in small portions so she doesn't over do it. She just likes peace and quite and hanging out with her owner. She eventually will warm up to you.

Story
1 year old Hammer is pretty shy and probably hiding under the shelves or running from one potty box to the next. If you are interested in adopting from the City of Georgetown Animal Shelter, please fill out an application at https://records.georgetown.org/Forms/AdoptApp . Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule an appointment to meet available dogs and cats. Please contact the shelter with any additional questions The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates). Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*. The adoption fee includes: spaying/neutering vaccinations (appropriate to species and age) heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age) de-worming medication microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly) There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown. Story
A stray mom showed up at my house with four kittens asking for help. I took them in and helped them all but am unable to take them all in permanently since I already have 2 cats and 2 dogs. She is a 3 month old health calico kitten. She is very loving, playful and likes to talk. She is fiv and feline leukemia negative and is up to date all all of her shots. We live in Williamson county , Texas. I would like for her to be in a loving home.

Story
Buttercup was adopted from Texas Humane Heroes 5 years ago as a mere kitten. She still gets skittish from sudden, loud noises but she has grown to love coming up to you to request loving pets! Buttercup has grown up in a quiet and tranquil home her whole life but she has great composure when visiting the vet. She has some exposure to older children and loves the attention she received from them. Buttercup’s favorite hobbies include: chasing the laser pointer, cleaning herself under my coffee table, and binging your favorite Netflix show while purring loudly on top of your chest. Buttercup is a minimalist and is not high maintenance, she is perfectly content when she can crawl into your lap and and get loving scratchies behind her ears.
