Story
Hi! My name is Lola! I was adopted as a kitten 8 years ago and suddenly my family left me at a shelter because a family member was moving in who was allergic to me. I was sad, but luckily I have a CAWS microchip, so I was transferred to a foster home where I adjusted quickly - I am a very friendly, happy kitty. My foster mom says I am the most beautiful calico kitty she has ever seen! I love people and I do not hold back showing them! I often lounge on the desk when my foster mom is working and snuggle up to her. Sometimes she says she can not reach the keyboard around me, but I know she loves it! I will give you cute little meows when I need attention and when you pet me, I will flop onto the floor for a belly rub. I love toys and I will roll around with catnip stuffies and toy mice. I like to find a very hidden spot to sleep in during the day - right now, I sleep in the back corner of my foster dad's closet. Then, I emerge when I hear your voice. I can live with another cat or a calm dog, but I am definitely a people cat, so you will be my priority. Come meet me - I just know you will love my happy, goofy, lovey self! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationAugust 19, 2024, 7:00 am

Story
Introducing the one and only, the one and only Carrie! This little ball of fur is more captivating than a magic show and more enchanting than a fairytale. Prepare to be absolutely delighted in her presence. And get this, she's not just your average feline, she's a hidden jewel with a heart of gold that shines brighter than any blinged-out diamond. Let me tell you, Carrie didn't have an easy start in life. Oh no, she was a street-smart survivor, battling it out in the concrete jungle. She had to dodge other animals, find her own shelter, and scavenge for food. Talk about a rough life! But despite it all, she never let her spirit break. Now get this - Carrie is a VIP in the rescue cat world. She's got the FIV badge of honor. It used to be a terrifying diagnosis, but not anymore! FIV cats are living the good life, just like any other feline. Sure, Carrie needs some extra TLC for her upper respiratory system, but hey, we all have our quirks, right? And guess what? FIV cats can even hang out with other FIV cats and dogs. They're just as deserving of love and affection as any other furry friend. So, if you're ready to welcome a rare gem into your life, look no further than Carrie. She's got love to spare and joy to spread. She's patiently waiting to complete someone's heart and become the cherished member of a loving family. Don't miss out on this extraordinary opportunity to experience the magic that Carrie brings. Trust me, it'll be a purr-fectly amazing adventure! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you can see our posts.  Unfortunately Meet & Greets has been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animal travel has been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.  Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1657175##

Say hello to the gorgeous Nala! She has the most beautiful calico coat with the cutest pink button nose! Nala embodies the qualities of beauty, grace, and inner strength! She is the perfect mix of playful and lazy cuddle bug. She is quick to jump up into your lap to be petted or get extra chin scratches. A few of her favorite activities include daytime naps, stealing attention, and talking up a storm! She purrs just like a little Hemi engine. You will never be lonely with this girl! Nala does have her occasional playful spurts but for the most part she can be found relaxing on the highest part of the cat tower or in her little cat tunnel. Her favorite toy is a wand feather toy, which she enjoys chasing around for a few minutes a day. She is such an easy girl who really only need a lap to be happy! Nala adores all of her children and loves playing with them. But she is very much ready to retire from motherhood! Nala is in an amazing foster home that is teaching her what it’s like to be loved! She is currently fostered with her five kittens and the resident adult cat. She does great with everyone in the household. Her fun, sweet personality will fill your home with warmth! She would make the perfect addition to any home. Don’t miss out on this beautiful girl! Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $350 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $40 surcharge for transport. 🐾GIBBS🐾 ***Please read my full bio to make sure I am a good fit for your home. ***An application must be submitted prior to a meet and greet. Application link is below. (Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.) Gibbs (Gibbsy) is a very special boy 🐱. He has had such a rough start in life that he deserves all the wonderful things this world has to offer a wonderful boy like Gibbs! 🌟 Our director found this poor boy in the back room of one of the shelters, isolated from others because of an awful eye infection 😿. His poor eyes had ulcers and were so painful, she just had to bring him into the rescue so he could recover in a loving home with other kittens his age to socialize with 🐾. It took weeks of daily medicine 💊 to get his eye infection under control, but he still ended up with scar tissue on his eyes. It's taken a lot of work on his foster family's part and a lot of trust on Gibbs' part to get him where he is today 💪. He has learned to trust the humans in his world and has become very social 🤗. He now greets guests at the door in hopes of getting pets or a treat 🐾. He's a quiet boy with wonderful house manners 🏠. Wet food is the way to buy this guy's friendship and he will chirp in anticipation 🐦. Gibbs is the official kitten nanny in his foster home 🐱. He loves doting on the kittens, grooming them, gently playing with them or taking naps cuddled up in one of the many perches in his foster home 💤. He is such a sweet boy that when the younger kittens start trying to eat his food after eating their own, he patiently moves over and shares his snack with them 🍽️. Gibbs can always be found with at least one kitten sunning themselves by the back door, taking their nap together or grooming each other blissfully 😺. Gibbs is one of our biggest success stories and a true testament to why we do cat rescue ❤️. Gibbs has become a beautiful gem who started out as a rough piece of coal. He's sweet, playful, loving, and always a peacemaker ☮️. A true gentleman who deserves a human of his very own 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. ** Gibbs MUST go to a home with another cat. (Adopt a 2nd kitty from us with Gibbs for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on and toys to play with. He needs a family who will give him lots of love, attention and playtime. ** Gibbs does great with other cats. His foster mom says he ignores dogs. He does well with respectful, older children and he is litter box trained. Gibbs is ready to be your furrever sidekick! 🐾 ID NUMBER – S23013 DATE OF BIRTH – 09/22/2022 GENDER – Neutered Male BREED/DESCRIPTION – Domestic Short Hair, Brown Tabby NOTES/MEDICAL INFO – Neutered, Current on Vaccinations, Microchipped *NEEDS* – Gibbs MUST go to a home with another cat. 🐾MIKU🐾 ***Please read my full bio before you apply to make sure I am a good fit for your home. ***An application must be submitted before we can arrange a meet and greet. Link to application is below. Meet Miku! Miku has the soul of a queen who knows what she wants and will demand it. She can be very sassy and temperamental if you don’t respect her boundaries. Miku will take your breath away with her beautiful green eyes and gorgeous looks. Miku needs a home with no other animals so she can rule her kingdom peacefully. We have found that she needs to be the only animal in the home to feel safe, happy and secure. She is very talkative and will let you know that she expects you to listen to her with your full attention. She loves her wet food and will try to trick her foster mom into thinking she has forgotten to give the cats in the household their daily snack. Miku is a very clean and tidy cat and is litter box trained. Due to some unknown trauma in her past, Miku must be the only animal in the home. Once she is acquainted with the humans in her home, she will roll over and demand belly rubs and will weave in and out of your legs to make sure you know she's there. Miku is a beautiful gray tabby with gorgeous green eyes who just wants a home where she can live on her own terms and be the center of attention. A trial placement or foster to adopt may be an option for the right family. If you think you can give this beautiful girl a chance, please fill out an application today! She deserves to have her own home with her own special humans who will give her all the love she deserves! ** Miku needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run and play, cat trees to scratch and climb and toys to keep her entertained. 🐾SALLY🐾 *Adoption fee is waived!* *** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet. (Indoor-only, no declawing, Utah residents only, 21+.) 🐾 Hi there! I'm Sally! 🐾 I'm a sweet, little lady with a big heart 💖. I've had my fair share of ups and downs, so I can be a bit shy when we first meet 😅. But don't worry, once I get to know you, I'll be your best friend! I love to chat 🗣️, and I have lots to say! I'm also a big fan of cuddles and pets 🥰. My favorite hobbies include playing on my cat trees 🧗‍♀️ and being the center of attention. Wet food and treats are the way to my heart 🍗❤️. Just a heads-up—I prefer to keep my paws on the ground, so I'm not too keen on being picked up, not until after I get to know you. ** I need a quiet, indoor-only home with comfy beds, cat trees to climb on and boxes to curl up in. I need family who will give me lots of love, attention and affection. ** I do okay with other cats after proper introductions, but I would prefer to be the only kitty in the home. I haven’t been around dogs, but I don’t think I would do very well with them. I do well with respectful, older children and I am litter box trained. So, what do you say? Ready to welcome a sweet, affectionate, and food-loving feline into your home?
