Story
This would be a double adoption, because they are sisters and have never been separated. Once they get used to you, they love to cuddle with you and each other. They have been indoor cats only. They are afraid of dogs, and defend themselves if confronted with a dog. My husband’s Parkinson’s disease has gotten us to the point where we need to move in with our daughter and her family and our grandson is highly allergic to cats. It breaks our hearts to part with them, but it must be the way.

Story
Meet Katy! Katy is a pretty dilute calico with vibrant green eyes and the cutest underbite! This gorgeous soul would be the perfect match for anyone that appreciates a calm and relaxed lifestyle. Katy is an independent girl who knows what she likes but still has plenty of love to give! Katy is a calm and low-maintenance girl. She’s not demanding, but when she does seek attention, she’s as sweet as can be, offering gentle purrs and soft head-butts. Katy is a the perfect houseguest! A few of her favorite things include lounging by the window, soaking up the sun, and of course, the occasional treat. She doesn't mind if you have a busy schedule and will just kick back and relax until you're home! Katy did have to have a few teeth pulled due to poor care living on the streets, so her only diet request is to have soft food so she can get all her nutrients! Katy is currently living in an adult only home as a spoiled only child. Katy would thrive in a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. While she might take a little time to warm up to new people, once she’s comfortable, she’s a loyal and loving companion! Don’t miss out on this sweet girl! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Sabine is very skittish but when she feels safe she is super vocal and chirps and “talks” to you. She is a problem pooper. She will use a litter box but she will poop on carpet if it’s available. We have had to block off the carpeted areas of our home with baby gates. We have recently moved to a new home with very little area for her to be contained to and hope to find her somewhere she can be more comfortable. She needs a calm, quiet home. We have 2 other cats and she gets along with one but not the other. She loves our son but is skittish around me and my husband.

MEET WHSIKERS! My name is Whiskers! I have a deep rumble purr and love to be in your presence. I don't need lots of pets and attention. I enjoy sitting right on top of you when we cuddle. When I need attention, I'll ask for it and then quickly let you know when I'm done. I'm not picky and don't need much, except I don't want to share you with anyone else, so I have to be an only cat. Small children make me nervous, so I want to live in a calm family with older kids or no kids. I would do best with someone who has owned cats before and is able to read my body language. I keep myself clean and use my litter box perfectly! If you're looking for a low-maintenance cat who will provide you with undemanding companionship, I'm your gal!! She has excellent cat manners, cute chirps and is the best gal! She has also had her dental done, up to date on vaccines and had great bloodwork!

Link is an amazing, loving and smart boy! Link loves his humans very much! He is a special needs boy due to him having food sensitivities and diabetes. His diabetes is well managed through diet and insulin. We would show any potential adopter or permanent foster how to care for him. It really is quite easy! Link would be an amazing emotional support cat, he walks on a leash, plays like a kitten and would do best as the only cat due to his dietary needs of canned food only. We are looking for an adopter or a long term/permanent foster (this means we would continue to provide his insulin/medical needs) Our diabetic kids sadly often never find a home which is devastating for these kitties! They are just as wonderful as any cat with a little extra care! Link is easy to care for and even easier to LOVE, he is an amazing boy! Link has had a complete dental (no teeth) and regular vet care with us as well If you are willing to learn about his care please submit an app so we can chat!

Story
MEET KIT KAT! I am the sweetest boy who has soft meows and likes to talk to you! I am a shy boy but we are working on that. I love to have a covered bed that I can hang out in. I really am a very smart boy! I know my name and will come out for you, once I feel safe! Treats are the way to my heart! I would love a cat savvy human to give me a chance and would love a calm home! When I came to Whiskers I didn't really know how to cat, i am learning some very fun stuff! I like wand, toys and enjoy my stuffed animal. Every day that goes by I learned about new cool things! I am a very gentle boy I love pets and chin scratches, and I'm a big guy too. I weigh about 13 pounds but I am very sleek and slender! My coat is absolutely gorgeous. I came to Whiskers with a bit of a sensitive tummy because I had been being fed mostly dog food. I LOVE my wet food and eat mainly this. I did have several food trials and an abdominal ultrasound. I am feeling much better now. I really prefer my cat savvy dog friends over cat friends. If you have a pup who loves kitties and is cat savvy I would LOVE that, Currently my best friends are my foster humans and their handsome doggo Gary!
