Story
We adopted Deja (calico) and Dexter (gray) from a local animal shelter when they were 6 weeks old. They are siblings. We have loved them dearly for nearly 8 years. Our little one is struggling with bad allergies due to the cats and our busy schedules haven’t allowed us to give them the attention they once had. We have determined that it would be best to rehome our sweet cats at this time to bring our child relief from allergies and to hopefully get the time and attention that they deserve. We are hoping that they are adopted into a loving home with an owner that is able to give them the snuggles, and attention that they crave. They have been together since birth and we do not want them separated. They are both friendly, playful, love cuddles, and have brought us so much joy over the years. They do not have experience around dogs or older children but have adapted wonderfully to our two year old. Cat tree, litter boxes, any food/litter that we have included.

Story
From the owner: Kida was born to a barn cat, we took her in as a kitten. She's still pretty small, and will probably always be on the tinier side. She can be a shy little girl, but if you scritch her chin or at the base of her tail, she'll totally melt in your hands! She's only about a year and a half old. Our house is a little too busy and chaotic for Kida, and she tends to spend a lot of time hiding. She's really afraid of our dog, and nothing we've tried has worked. At night when things settle down, she wants to curl up and fall asleep in my lap when I'm watching TV, and will purr and purr. We want to find her a calm, quiet home where she can be herself and gain more confidence. She's going to need someone to be a little patient with her. She does love to chase the laser light and anything with feathers will really get her going! She's young, so she's still really playful. I know she would be happy in a home without dogs or small kids, where she could be pampered like the princess she is.

Story
Meet the handsome duo, Mason and Grayson! These sweet boys are a bonded pair of 8-year-old domestic shorthair cats who arrived at FVHA as an owner surrender. Mason is a sleek mostly-black beauty with a charming white patch on his chest, while Grayson is a distinguished grey tabby. These gentle souls are currently finding shelter life quite overwhelming and are understandably shy and stressed in this environment. They previously lived with other animals, but in their ideal world, Mason and Grayson would prefer a calm and quiet home where they can truly relax and feel secure, without the added energy of other pets or young children.Mason and Grayson are searching for a cat-savvy owner who understands that they will likely always be on the more reserved side. They need someone who is willing to give them plenty of space to adjust and decompress, and who will be patient as they slowly build trust. Their ideal adopter will appreciate their quiet companionship and understand that their love may be shown in subtle ways, like a soft purr from a safe distance or a gentle rub against your legs when they feel comfortable. While they may always be shy, the love and security of a calm and understanding home will make all the difference for these deserving boys. If you have a peaceful home and the patient heart to offer Mason and Grayson the gentle environment they need, please consider opening your heart and home to this bonded pair. They promise to fill your life with quiet charm and the rewarding experience of earning the trust of two truly special cats. These boys are both neutered, up to date on core vaccinations, have been dewormed, received flea prevention, and are microchipped. If you have any questions about this dynamic duo, feel free to reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org and book an appointment online to meet with them today!
