Calico kittens & cats in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

From the owner: Kida was born to a barn cat, we took her in as a kitten. She's still pretty small, and will probably always be on the tinier side. She can be a shy little girl, but if you scritch her chin or at the base of her tail, she'll totally melt in your hands! She's only about a year and a half old. Our house is a little too busy and chaotic for Kida, and she tends to spend a lot of time hiding. She's really afraid of our dog, and nothing we've tried has worked. At night when things settle down, she wants to curl up and fall asleep in my lap when I'm watching TV, and will purr and purr. We want to find her a calm, quiet home where she can be herself and gain more confidence. She's going to need someone to be a little patient with her. She does love to chase the laser light and anything with feathers will really get her going! She's young, so she's still really playful. I know she would be happy in a home without dogs or small kids, where she could be pampered like the princess she is.

Hi, I’m Gydget and my adoption fee has been completely sponsored!! I think I have lived outside most of my life until my foster mom saw I was pregnant and let me in the house. It took me a bit to appreciate the 3 meals a day and a warm place to sleep but I am trying hard to trust.I love to be pet and purr really hard as long as you are at my level. I enjoy watching the birds out the windows and love playing with the inside mice... I like to rub on the leg of my foster parents and I love to talk to them. I don't like to be picked up but I will lay by you on the couch! I prefer to be near you, but not on you. Gydget would be great as the only cat in the household, but she does get along well with other non-dominant cats and kittens. She has not been around dogs. Gydget is spayed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She will need some dental care in the future.
