Story
Hi, I’m Gydget and my adoption fee has been completely sponsored!! I think I have lived outside most of my life until my foster mom saw I was pregnant and let me in the house. It took me a bit to appreciate the 3 meals a day and a warm place to sleep but I am trying hard to trust.I love to be pet and purr really hard as long as you are at my level. I enjoy watching the birds out the windows and love playing with the inside mice... I like to rub on the leg of my foster parents and I love to talk to them. I don't like to be picked up but I will lay by you on the couch! I prefer to be near you, but not on you. Gydget would be great as the only cat in the household, but she does get along well with other non-dominant cats and kittens. She has not been around dogs. Gydget is spayed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She will need some dental care in the future. Apply for Gydget at sandipaws.org.Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
This is Kielbasa. All of her babies have been adopted and she would love the chance to settle in to her forever home with her forever humans. Keilbasa is shy at first, but when she trusts you she will love you. She is an independent cat and is not a fan of being carried around. But if you give her chin and ear scratches, she will reward you with the most heartwarming purrs you’ve ever heard! Keilbasa is good with older kids and other laid-back kitties. She has not yet been around dogs, so a slow introduction would be necessary. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for feline distemper and rabies and is FeLV/FIV negative. Please apply to adopt Kielbasa at www.sandipaws.org/adoptionThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
Justen is a larger than life boy with a strong spirit and a need to be the king of his castle. He thrives when he’s the center of attention.Justen benefits most from stimulating toys that allow him to engage in his natural hunting instincts. A window to watch the world outside is also important to him, providing both mental stimulation and a sense of peace. Bird watching is his favorite past time, and speaking to the birds is his second language.Justen is not just looking for a home—he’s looking for a kingdom where he can be the ruler. Where he can feel safe, loved, and truly belong. He is a chatterbox, a snuggler and absolutely loves attention. While in his foster home, Justen had occasional incidents with peeing in his cat bed. Because of this he is on a daily dose of "calm" probiotic and special food. He has been to the vet and is healthy and there are no medical concerns. Justen has been doing so good lately and we are hopeful that a forever home will allow this positive behavior to continue. He has had no incidents for almost a month, and counting...Justen is neutered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. Apply for Justen at sandipaws.org.Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Story
Willard and Kade are a mellow bonded pair looking for a quiet place to call home. They are shy but they have so much love to give!Kade is much slower to adjust than Willard, he is timid and takes time to feel comfortable. When comfortable he enjoys gentle pets. Willard`s presence makes him feel braver, their bond is very special.Willard and Kade will need an owner that will be patient with them, as they take some time to adjust to new situations and people. They would do best in a quiet home without a lot of hustle and bustle. They lived with a dog previously and were quite afraid so a dog free home would be best for them.In their time here in the shelter, Kade and Willard quickly bonded with another cat named Scuttle! They are often seen snuggling together and absolutely adore each other!• Bonded to Willard and Scuttle• Needs a quiet home with no dogs• Slow to adjustMeet Kade at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.
