Looking for a fun, quirky and goofy dog? Want a tri-pod dog that thinks she’s a gazelle? Well….Kylie is the perfect fit! What a road of recovery this girl has had from a terrible abuse case. Kylie came to us after having to have her right hind leg removed and need time to heal from that and some other fractures. After many months of learning how to trust humans again, she slowly began to come out of her shell and learned to interact with humans and her doggie friends. She discovered that she likes to sleep on a soft doggie bed or lounge around on the couch, when she’s not wrestling around with her doggie friends. She has no awareness that she’s a tri-pod and leaps and wrestles around. Kylie would do best in a home with other doggie friends and with patient humans who will give her the time and space to trust in them. She tends to favor women over men but can be won over with yummy treats. Rescue shows us the road to recovery may be long for some dogs, but one look into Kylie’s eyes and you can certainly see her compassion and ability to love again. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. Aylin is a beautiful, 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd mix. Anatolian’s are known for their background of herding and protecting endangered species. Typically their breed are independent but not Aylin. She is 72 lbs and full of love to give. Although big, she is gentle and would love a family that matches her sweet nature. Aylin does well with meeting new people and dogs. She loves her Benebone and chewing on other toys. She came from a shelter, so she will need someone who is patient with her and help with training such as leash training (does well with a Halti collar) and redirecting during loud sounds. She loves car rides, has become a pro at jumping in and out of the SUV, and meeting new people! She eats well, will graze her food throughout the day, just don’t leave a trash can open near her. Aylin is a very special girl and would love someone to relax with after her walks and is the definition of Netflix and Chill. As a bonus, Aylin is fully house trained! Jackson was adopted from the Humane society of Greate Dayton at 4 months old. Jackson is very sweet and extremely smart. He loves to play, and is super friendly. I watch my grandaughters all week who are still under 5 years old. As a result he is not getting the attention I feel he deserves. I belive he would thrive in a home with a large back yard and an owner that is able to devote more time with him.
