Story
Hi there! My name is ITSY BITSY (Anna) and here is some info about me:Breed: Corgi/Jack Russell mixAge: 10 monthsGender: FemaleWeight: 7.5 kgHeight: tbdCountry of Origin: Middle EastHighlights: Cuddly, intelligent, loyal, and loving Hi, I want to share a bit about my cute self with you.I started my life with a breeder and then was unexpectedly abandoned by my first owner, who left me behind when they traveled to another country. Since then, I have been temporarily rehomed several times, but have not yet found my forever loving family. Thankfully I was rescued and brought to a shelter where I am safe. While I'm grateful to be here, what I really want is a forever homce. I am a sweet tempered, faithful, cuddly pup that wants to love and adore a family of my very own. I am eager to learn and looking forward to meeting you! I know that we will fill each other’s lives with love and joy.I am a young pup, so while I do have a moderate level of energy, I have my puppy exuberance flashes too. I am house trained and have some experience with the leash. I am partly trained but could use some refreshers. Kittys, no problem. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2141556##

Story
Hello, humans!  My name's Benny aka Beene and I'm SO excited to have caught your eye!  I'm an very lovable and adorable 2 year old corgi mix.  I feel so lucky to have a second lease on life here in Canada-- now I just need the right person/family to scoop me up and bring me to my forever home.  I was born in a small village in the Middle East and when I was one month old, a human found me whimpering under a tree all alone.  The whereabouts of my mother and littermates were unkown, so they kindly brought me to a shelter where I stayed for 1.5 years with other dogs in a small room and yard.  Even though the conditions weren't the greatest at the crowded shelter, it provided me the opportunity to connect with people who sponsored my trip to B.C. i am happily living in a foster home here in BC with numerous other dogs. I love love love playing with other dogs. So I would love a home with another playful dog or have the opportunity to go to dog parks. But as much as I adore my fellow canines, I adore people even more. I live for human affection and will gently place my paw on your leg or arm to let you know it is time to pet me. I have a minor incontinence problem where sometimes I lose control before I can let you know I need to go outside. But I happily wear a belly band or diaper to prevent accidents inside. The reason for my incontinence has not been diagnosed, but speculated to be neurologically related. I am a very friendly and sociable boy although I  can be a bit timid when meeting new humans, particularly men. But it doesn't take me long before I am seeking their affection. In fact my current foster is a man and it took me all of five minutes to fall in love with him. I am eager to please, and very food motivated so training me is a breeze. Being a very gentle soul who doesn't have any resource guarding, I am also great with kids.Sometimes my joy for life makes me get the "zoomies" and I race around happily in large circles.  Leaving me home alone for a few hours is no problem as I have no separation anxiety.  A home with a fenced yard is ideal for me so I can run, explore, and eliminate without my diaper/belly band.  I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is by donation.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess.
