Alina puts the “a” into appealing. Just look at this tawny 2-year-old’s face with those adorably perked ears! At a fit 40 pounds, she LOVES snuggling and cuddling with her foster mom on the couch, resting her head on her, turning over for tummy rubs and then dancing and prancing about. She also loves sleeping on her back with her head hanging off the couch. Shy around strangers, she fares best with slow introductions before she considers them friends, while her favorite activity is going for walks, walking excellently on leash – provided no small animals catch her eye. Doing well with dogs of all sizes, and thriving on learning/clicker training as she hones her basic manners, Alina is motivated by food and loves, currently knows “come,” “sit,” “leave it” and “down” rather than “off,” loves bacon-flavored treats and chasing her toy duckie. She sleeps in a small room at night, is fully house-trained and now needs a patient home that loves cuddles, with no cats, to perfect her manners, complete her training, including her commands, and ensure that she’s mentally and physically fulfilled fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here .
