Chip is an all-around sweet pup. He is very friendly and playful. He loves other dogs too and is always up for playtime. Chip is eager to learn and please. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
Hi, I`m Cashew The world can seem a bit overwhelming to me, but with a gentle touch and a bit of patience, I promise to be your most loyal friend. I walk well on a leash, always careful not to pull or rush. I`m a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I`m all heart. I`ve got a gentle soul, preferring quiet moments to loud ones. I find joy in the simplest of things - a soft pat, a kind word, and oh, how I love treats! They`re my favorite. I`m looking for a companion who understands that sometimes, the world is a scary place, but together, we can face it. Adopting me won`t just change my life, it will make yours a little brighter too. I`m just waiting for my forever home, could it be with you?

Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Journey's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN.
