Story
Daisy is up for pre-adoption Daisy is an adorable puppy born on November 23rd, alongside her 9 siblings, to the sweetest mama, Grace. Grace, a Carolina/Whippet mix, has passed down her gentle and loving nature to Daisy. While we don’t know who dad was, we anticipate Daisy and her siblings will grow into medium to large-sized dogs. Born in our care, Daisy has been surrounded by love and attention from the very beginning. She’s playful, curious, and full of puppy charm, ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home. Whether she’s exploring her surroundings, playing with her siblings, or snuggling up for a nap, Daisy’s sweet and spirited personality shines through. Benji is up for adoption in TX only! Benji is a 1-year-old, 25-pound Red Heeler/Carolina mix who’s likely full-grown and ready to find his forever home. This handsome boy has a stunning red coat and an even more beautiful personality. While he may be a little timid at first, it doesn’t take long for his playful and affectionate side to shine through. Benji is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with both dogs and humans. He’s incredibly sweet and has a natural charm that makes him a joy to be around. He’s also a quick learner! Benji is fully potty trained (not a single accident!) and picked up the “sit” command in just a couple of days. Though he still has some puppy energy, Benji is well on his way to becoming the perfect companion. He loves to play but might chew on things if left alone too long, so he’ll need some monitoring as he continues to learn. Long car rides aren’t ideal for Benji since he can get car sick, but he’s more than happy to join you on shorter adventures. Benji is a great and easygoing dog who would thrive in a loving home with someone who can give him the time and attention he deserves. Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Benji can’t wait to meet you! Story
Buck is a fun-loving, affectionate and outdoorsy, family man looking for love! We believe that Buck is a Carolina Dog, Labrador mix, but he is a rescue so this is just our best guess! Buck is estimated to be around 1 year old, and currently weighs in at a snuggly 68 pounds. Fall in love with Buck here: https://youtu.be/xvQ0_4eabJc?si=lu9hzJm8K5ihhWAz Buck is currently fostered in a home with other dogs, kids and frequent visitors. He adores everyone he meets, two legged and four legged. He could do well in a socially active home! He greets everyone he meets with kisses, and he’s exceptionally sweet with kids. With other dogs, Buck is both a total sweetheart and a the life of the party. He enjoys the company of dogs of all shapes and sizes, he likes to play chase and “keep away” with toys. Buck shares affection well with other dogs, and is affectionate with other dogs. He’s such a dreamy boy! Buck is easy on leash, and knows some basic commands. He’s shown us nothing but intelligence and trainability! He will work for treats and takes treats so gently, making further training easy and enjoyable for both of you. During walks and playtime, Buck checks in with his humans, making eye contact and stopping for a pet or two! Here at the rescue, Buck did not have any accidents indoors, and showed great house manners. Buck is also an outdoorsy type, he loves playing with sticks, and romping through the grass. He would love to be your hiking buddy! In the car, Buck is easy-peasy, settling in the passenger seat without anxiety. With his friendly demeanor and car-riding skills, you can take this boy anywhere! Take him to the park, patio restaurants or just out shopping- he’ll appreciate the opportunity to socialize. Buck is ready to be your best friend. He could live in a home with other dogs, with kids, or as your only child! He’s an absolute dream and ready for forever love. We are willing to test Buck with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Hudson (aka Hondo). Hudson is a sweet sweet boy and loves all people, and I mean all people! He loves giving kisses, is snuggly and loving but also very playful. Hudson knows how to be calm and relaxed in the house but also likes to be silly. He loves toys and will ask you to play, toss, or tug with him as much as you are willing. Hudson loves playing soccer, kicks the ball around for himself and loves for you to try and steal the ball from him. He likes to also block when you kick the ball for him. I swear someone taught him to play soccer. Hudson can be vocal when he plays, but it's all in fun. Hudson came to us after spending a long year in a rural shelter. Prior to the shelter, we suspect that Hudson spent most of his life living outside. Living in a home seemed to be all new experiences. Hard floors, couches, beds, and soft cozy blankets were all foreign to him, but he has adjusted very nicely. New places can be a little bit scary but with a little encouragement he will be brave with you. Hudson is learning to be comfortable in a crate and making great progress. He is spending some time with one of our trainers, working on impulse control, leash walking and recall. Hudson seems used to being on his own out in the world, so he needs to learn to stay with his people. He is food motivated, a fast learner, smart, and eager to please. Hudson would love an outdoorsy family that will play and explore with him.
