Story
We took Oakley in a year ago. It was to be temporary. His owner was incarcerated and another family was going to take him in so he would not be put down. It did not happen and we still have him. He was a year old (approximately) and we were told he was an American Dingo (Carolina dog). He had never been on a leash and house training was an issue. He had not been seen by a vet and had several types of worms and Lyme disease. We treated him for all, got him neutered and chipped, and up to date on all shots. He has doubled in size and is very lovable. House trained. We say he has no social graces as he just plows into everyone as he runs around (would knock over small children so that would not be a good fit.) He does not bite but is very protective. He needs to be trained and is very smart; we just don’t have the time or resources right now. He is crate trained and will go there immediately when told. He also knows how to sit.
