Story

It’s time for Frankie to find her forever home! Frankie was rescued from the Houston, TX BARC kill shelter. While we didn’t know much about her background, we do know she’s a 2-year-old, heartworm-negative pup who was malnourished and intact. She is spayed. Initially, she struggled with reactivity towards cats, accidents in the house, and leash issues. But after months of dedicated work, Frankie has made incredible progress, She now co-exists with cats, enjoys walks, is crate trained, housebroken, and is food motivated. Frankie’s ideal home would have plenty of space for her to run and play. She hasn’t mastered the art of fetch quiet yet, but is getting there. Frankie is incredibly cute and has mastered commands like sitting and waiting patiently for her meals (complete with adorable drool drops before being released!).
