Story
Hi there, Dwight here. I'm a really good boy! I am handsome, athletic, smart, snuggly, a perfect balance. I love other dogs, ignore cats, and really like kids. Going for walks and watching movies are two of my favorite things. The only thing holding me back from finding my forever family is my anxiety. I take some time to trust you but when I do, I give full body wiggles and the best smile! If you think you'd be willing to take a chance on me, I'd really love to love you.

Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Story
Young. Playful. Loving. He looks like a small German Shepherd but has coloring of a Lab. Eyes and bark are very Husky like. The Houston animal control where we first fostered him said he was Carolina Dog/Husky. We did adopt him because I wanted to make sure he got a loving home. He is special. Only 33 pounds. He gets along very well with my two female dogs but our alpha Blue Heeler wants to control and fight him. He wants to sleep with me but is willing to sleep in his kennel without any fuss. He loves to go on walks but still pulls a bit but getting better. Homer is well mannered but does get a little silly and puppy like just sometimes. He is happy just hanging out with his family. I would surely keep him if it wasn't for the issue with our aggressive Heeler.
