YAZHU and what we believe are his siblings were saved from a really rough neighborhood in LA County. This wonderful group that helps out people in that area do TNR (Trap - Neuter - Return) saved them. So the adults were all TNRed and the kittens were sent to rescues. We took on YAZHU and his siblings (YING - YANG - YISRAEL - YAWEN). YAZHU has been ready for his FUREVER home for a long time. Meet YAZHU, a cat with a personality that is as varied as it is endearing. Independent and brave, he is a feline who thrives on his own, yet is always ready for a game of chase. His smart and mellow nature makes him an excellent companion for quiet evenings. Despite his shy and timid demeanor, YAZHU has a sweet, curious, and goofy side that shines through once he warms up to you. He's known to be a bit skittish, but his love for treats always wins out. YAZHU is not just funny and playful, but he also brings joy and laughter to everyone around him. If you're looking for a cat who is full of surprises and will keep you on your toes, YAZHU is the one. His unique personality and love for life make him the perfect addition to any home looking for a little extra love and laughter. YAHZU absolutely has the personality of a Turkish Van cat. His personality is best described as energetic, playful and fun-loving. Turkish Vans like to be cuddled and held on their own terms, though not for long periods of time. But YAHZU does come look for pets. And he is totally treat motivated! YAZHU is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TURKISH VAN MIX. He has a black spot on his nose, black on his ears and a black tail. He is 3 years and 5 months old He has never been around small children. In the rescue he has been exposed to dogs and he is quite curious about them. He absolutely loves all cats! Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. MCFADDEN his mom BRISTOL and his younger siblings from a previous litter (LACY, LA VETA and EDINGER) were all living in a yard in Santa Ana, Ca. They were all named after the streets in Santa Ana. BRISTOL was actually the neighbor's cat. The man that initially saved all of them was feeding them outside. She initially had her first litter and that's when EDINGER was born. We weren't told exactly what happened to his siblings. Then she had a second litter and that's when he decided to reach out for help. A local independent rescuer trapped mama cat and kittens. Then they called us to come get them. These poor guys were so skinny and dirty. Scared and unsocial. And when MCFADDEN came to our rescue he was adopted as a 3 month old kitten To our dismay, he was dumped at the shelter. We reached out to his family and never located them. Meet MCFADDEN, a charming three-year-old tuxedo cat from Santa Ana, California, whose heart is as warm as his glossy black and white coat. MCFADDEN is a friendly feline who can often be found striking up a conversation with anyone who will listen. Whether it's a soft meow in the morning or a chatty greeting when you come home, he's got plenty to say! MCFADDEN's affectionate nature makes him a delightful companion, especially if you're someone who appreciates the soft purrs and gentle nuzzles of a loving cat. He would show up every morning and the lady felt bad for him and would feed. She noticed that the other cats in the neighborhood were beating him up. It wasn't long before he was inside the house living with the lady. Unfortunately, her cats did not like him. So we were asked to take him. Meet TOM, a charming feline with a unique blend of traits. He's independent and brave, confidently exploring his surroundings and asserting his space. Yet, he's also shy and mellow, needing a little time to warm up to new people. BEBE, her mom (BETTI BOOPERS) and her 3 siblings (LYNX, COLTON & TIGGER) were living in a bad hoarding situation in Bakersfield, CA. They were living off a dangerous street and people were actually poisoning the cats there. A group of rescuers helped all the cats involved and called us to take these babies. BEBE and her brother COLTON were adopted together. And to their dismay, their dad passed away. We were called to pick them up and the rescue mama ran to get them. It has been a very hard journey for them. We truly pray that the person that falls in love with BEBE will have the heart to take her brother COLTON too. Meet BEBE, a sweet 3 year old cat from Bakersfield, California whose essence is a delicate blend of shyness and endearing charm, wrapped in a soft, striped coat. BEBE is a talker with a timid disposition, but once she feels safe, her sweet nature shines brightly. She may start off a bit reserved, but give her a little time, and you'll find a loving companion who communicates with soft, melodic meows. Her favorite time of day is mealtime, especially when wet food is involved. And to their dismay, their dad passed away. We were called to pick them up and the rescue mama ran to get them. It has been a very hard journey for them. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
