Story
👑 Introducing Miss Kitty: The Royal Highness of Cattitude! 👑 Hear ye, hear ye! It is with great honor and delight that we present to you the one and only Kitty, a true feline monarch in every sense of the word. At the tender age of two, this majestic lady has graced us with her presence for far too long, patiently awaiting her royal decree—her forever home. For over a year, Kitty has ruled over her foster kingdom with elegance and grace, yet alas, her loyal subjects have failed to recognize her regal charm. But fear not, dear friends, for her reign shall not go unnoticed any longer! At first glance, Kitty may appear reserved, perhaps even a tad shy, as befits a queen of such noble stature. But fret not, for beneath her demure facade lies the heart of a playful companion, just waiting to be discovered by the right royal court. Her preferences, you ask? Ah, but Miss Kitty is a discerning monarch indeed! She requires an experienced cat family, adults only, and a serene environment fit for a queen—no other pets shall dare to encroach upon her domain. For she is sensitive to the nuances of her surroundings and demands only the utmost respect and reverence. But fear not, for those who earn her favor shall be rewarded tenfold with the privilege of her company. When the moon is high and the stars align, Kitty shall deign to grace you with her presence, seeking out attention and affection in her own royal time. So, if you dare to dream of a life filled with the elegant charm and whimsical antics of a true feline monarch, look no further than Kitty. For she awaits her rightful place upon the throne of your heart, ready to rule over your kingdom with love, laughter, and an abundance of cattitude. 🐾 Are you ready to welcome royalty into your home? Story
Meet handsome Darius, a 7-year-old feline urgently needing a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Since his rescue almost a year ago, he’s been residing in a boarding facility, patiently awaiting a forever home. Darius is a sweet and playful companion. He delights in interactive play with volunteers, eagerly chasing wand toys and darting through tunnels. He is equally content to entertain himself with kick toys and catnip. He appreciates affection and can be picked up but is not needy. He prefers interactions on his terms. His litterbox habits are top-notch. Unfortunately, Darius is very stressed in the presence of other cats. The constant exposure to feline sights, sounds, and scents in his boarding environment is taking its toll, leading to occasional spicy behavior For Darius to thrive, he needs a quiet, cat-savvy home without pets or young children. Are you the compassionate cat lover willing to step forward to provide Darius with the loving foster or forever home he deserves? If you believe you have the right environment for Darius or would like to learn more about fostering or adopting him, please fill out the foster or adoption application on our website (www.fofct.org). Your kindness could make a world of difference in Darius' life.

Story
Levi was brought to us as a physically abused and painfully thin 2-year-old yet has admirably emerged as one remarkably resilient, fun-loving, affectionate, and healthy boy who is ready to love and be loved! Despite everything he's been through, Levi relishes human interaction – from gentle pets to spirited playtime, he adores it all. However, when it comes to other cats, Levi would prefer to be without any furry competition. And like so many male cats we've come to know and love through rescue, he's tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). However, with the same devotion and care you'd shower on any beloved feline, Levi's expected lifespan is just as bright as any other cat's. For information on FIV, visit FIV FAQ. Let's give this incredible survivor the loving home he's been waiting for! The first step is to submit our online adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. ✨ With an approved application, we can arrange for you to meet Levi. Applicants must reside within 45 miles of Stamford, CT. (You can read more of Levi's story on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/donate/3161415940671048/)

Jax is seeking a family that can match his energy and give him the attention he craves. While he adores interaction and playtime, he would do best in a home without young children. His vibrant personality is sure to light up your home.

Story
Meet Tiger Lily, a resilient feline with a story to tell. Tiger Lily was one of four kittens born outdoors in 2019 that we rescued. Her journey hasn't been easy, but she's ready for the next step. 😿As a kitten, Tiger Lily found it hard to trust humans. However, she made great strides with patience and dedication, and we trusted a family to adopt her and continue her socialization. Unfortunately, after two years with an adoptive family, Tiger Lily was returned to us, her trust shattered, and her progress undone. 🐈Despite this setback, we remain committed to Tiger Lily's well-being. Over the past two years, she formed a deep bond with one of our volunteers and has also found comfort in the presence of a few others. While she enjoys affection and snuggles from these trusted individuals, she resides in a boarding cage with limited opportunities for exploration outside of her confinement. 🏠What Tiger Lily needs now is a very special, experienced cat person who can offer her the patience, understanding, and love she deserves. We envision a foster-to-adopt arrangement to ensure stability and minimize further disruptions to her life. Tiger Lily is not aggressive; rather, she retreats when afraid. This 4.5-year-old beauty is more at ease with women than men, and she would benefit from the companionship of a gentle feline friend in her new home. 🧡We invite you to meet her. Are you the compassionate soul willing to open your heart to Tiger Lily and provide her with the safe and nurturing environment she craves? Fill out an application to take the first step toward making a difference in Tiger Lily's life: https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. Applicants must reside within 45 miles of Stamford.
