Story
Clark is a very warm and affectionate boy who is curious but respectful of his surroundings. He will love up on you at any chance he gets and pays back any kindness with a deep, rumbling purr. He can be a bit vocal at times but will never bite or scratch at you or the furniture. Clark is three years old and is FeLV positive, but does not require any medication. This means he may need more support further along in his years due to some immune system suppression, but ever since I have had him he has been a healthy, happy boy. However, it would be best if he were homed to a home without cats currently or with any other cats that are FeLV positive for this reason, and especially not to home him if you have kittens. They are susceptible to catching the illness when very young, but healthy adult cats are at severely less risk. At the end of a long day, you can rely on Clark to settle into your lap and purr all your worries and stress away.

Story
Mia came into my life five months ago. She had just given birth and had lived a hard life outside. In spite of her being feral she is the sweetest most affectionate girl. Her sister came with her, in case you are looking to adopt a pair. She is litter trained and behaves well in the house. I would keep her, but she is a foster. She does well with my (four) other cats and Maltese dog. I had her spayed, got all her vaccines, and had her checked for FIV and feline leukemia. She is a healthy girl!

Story
Willow found me in my apartment complex one day and I knew I had to rescue her. She was super skinny but she was the absolute sweetest cat I’ve ever met. She loves to love, she gives the best cuddles and is always purring. She is the perfect cat, for a family, someone single, just anyone. She deserves a warm and loving home! I can’t leave this baby in this cold but I am not allowed to have pets where I live so I cannot keep her sadly. If I were able to I’d definitely keep her. She’s very chill, she just likes to be around. She’ll follow me doing house chores or she’ll sleep next to me on the couch. We have a small setup for her outside at nights to keep warm since she doesn’t stay overnight, so I’m not sure if she is potty trained. She has whined at me on a few occasions and once I let her outside she went, did her business and came running back to me inside, so I take that as a good sign! She is a perfect kitty that needs and deserves someone who will love her forever.

Story
Lottie was found in a parking lot as a kitten which is how she got her name. She is 7 years old. My parents have passed away and unfortunately I am unable to relocate her to my house since I have dogs that do not get along with cats.

Story
Cream came home with us about 9 months ago because we received a call from our vet asking if we could foster him. His previous family abandoned him there with urinary crystals. We believe he developed urinary crystals because he got into their dog's food (which is higher in sodium than cats can handle). Cream is a wonderful cat, though he doesn't seem to like all other cats, he absolutely LOVES our dog. So he is hoping to be adopted by someone that has a dog but makes sure he doesn't get into the dog food. Some of his favorite things to do is play and snuggle. He is a very confident, playful 3 year-old orange boy. Who also really likes sniffing your mouth haha, we joke that his dream job is to be a dentist. Right now he spends most of his time in our guest room and he would really love a place to call home that he can run around and be happy in! We are open to doing foster to adopt if you would like to see if he could be a good fit for your home before fully committing.

Story
Thor is the Friends of Felines 2023 and 2024 Drama King Award Winner 🏆 🏆 🏆 for 2 years running. He complains about everything. If you try to cut his nails, you are literally murdering him and he lets the whole neighborhood know this. He loves cat treats and will get very vocal when he's ready for some. Here are his redeeming qualities: He loves to play (a lot) and he is a LAP CAT when he is sleepy. He will lay on you when it's TV time. He will sleep on your chest, wrap his arms around your neck and want to be held like a baby. You can push him off of you repeatedly and he'll just try again until you give in.Thor will get overstimulated with new smells and will need about a day or 2 to adjust to a new situation and new animals. Due to Thor's stomach issues and the amount of time it took to diagnose Thor with stomatitis, he is FOF longest foster without a home. (born into foster in April of 2023). Most of Thor's teeth have been pulled and that has made him a healthier and happier cat.Stomatitis is a painful condition that causes inflammation and ulcers in a cat's mouth, including the gums, cheeks, and tongue. This condition can cause Irritable bowel syndrome when left untreated. Thor's teeth have been pulled to decrease the inflammation and belly aches he was consistently experiencing. His teeth were pulled back on 7/3/24 so he needs a special diet of Purina one sensitive skin and stomach (not prescription) https://bit.ly/fofadoptionapplication
