Please meet Sunny! He was found on a very cold day last January covered in fleas and completely emaciated. He was so thankful for food in his belly and a warm place to sleep that he purred nonstop for days! Sunny was adopted in February and through no fault of his own, he was recently returned to Paws on my Heart Rescue. After several months of lavish meals and a pampered indoor life, Sunny is now a healthy almost 20 pound kitty! He can get playful with the laser pointer, however, he is mostly over the kitten craziness. He loves to look outside in between naps and snacks. It's hard to know exactly how old Sunny is, but our guess is 4-7 years old. He does well with dogs and kids that respect his space. He has impeccable little box skills. Sunny is so very loved at his foster home, but he is so very deserving of his forever home. Sunny is positive for feline leukemia, so he will need to go to a home without other kitties or a home with another feline positive kitty.

When I came into the rescue, I was unsure of my new human friends but I've become very comfortable and happy living inside thanks to my loving foster family. I am now ready to find a home. I am content to do my own thing and curl up on a cozy bed or climb the cat tree and look outside. I'm young so I also enjoy playing with toys or wands or batting balls.
