Good with cats,
Story
There are cats that immediately warm up to anyone, anywhere. And then there are cats like Jake. You have to earn his trust, says his foster mom. But once you do boy, oh boy. He has so much love to give. After all, Jake came from a large outdoor colony where he didnt get much socialization. But just like his namesake on Blues Brothers, he was ready to hit the road to a better life. His foster mom used Churu, head pets and scratches behind the ears to quickly win him over, and she encourages potential adopters to remember the 3-3-3 rule: It takes three days to decompress, three weeks to learn a routine, and three months for a dog or cat to feel at home. And once Jake does? Hell charm his future family with his cute antics while batting at stuffed mice or little balls, and his shy but cuddly ways. Were on a mission from God to find Jake the home he so deserves. - Buzz.

Good with cats,
Story
Here at Whiskers TNR, we think that Sarsaparilla is a tall drink of water. She came from a large outdoor colony and immediately struck our volunteers as just too beautiful not to become someones adored pet, her unique markings like those of a rare Siamese known as Lynx Point. Her beautiful markings and shy demeanor made us want to give her the chance at an indoor home, says her foster dad. While Sarsaparilla doesnt seek out attention, she doesnt mind if people approach her slowly and on her terms. A curious kitty, she does like to know what theyre up to, and she loves to sit in the window and watch the world outside. She would thrive in a home where shed be given time and space to settle in, but we promisethis shy beauty is worth it. Are you ready to raise a glass to Sarsaparilla? - Buzz.

Story
In the Soda Fountain Litter, Shirley Temple wins the award for being sweet yet shy at least in the beginning but wed also give her an Oscar for those ultra-cute monologues of hers. She likes to meow a lot. Im not sure what shes talking about! says her foster mom. Maybe how thankful she is to go from a large outdoor colony to a pampered life indoors? Like her sister, Creamsicle, Shirley Temple has tested positive for FIV, but shes healthy otherwise and is prime adoption material with a few considerations. After all, even though Shirley Temple needs a minute to adjust to new surroundings and would probably prefer a quieter home, shes proven herself to be a cuddly starlet at heart. She now explores the house and loves being near us and getting pets, especially when her foster family sits at her level or her favorite little girl is around. Can Shirley Temple be the new furry star of your home? - Buzz.

Good with cats,
Story
Coco may have been living a scrappy life outdoors, but her foster mom believes she was destined to be someones darling, pampered pet. Shes very elegant and a real beauty queen named for Coco Chanel, the renowned fashion designer. That goes for that little black dress she sports as well as how she commands attention (in the most charming way, of course). Whenever I come into the room, she comes up to me to greet me with a quiet chirp. Coco has been busy raising seven (yes, seven!) kittens, but she still makes time to sit sweetly by her people for pets. Her foster mom describes her as a mild-mannered, versatile kitty who loves humans but can also entertain herself when theyre busy. Shes just so sweet and gentle and is going to make a great companion for someone. Shed just be perfect for someone looking for their best friend. Now that Coco is ready to retire from motherhood, is she fashionably on time to be yours? - Buzz.

Story
If you have a soft spot for a shy but oh-so-sweet kitty, Bootsies your gal. This petite kitty tends to be cautious as she figures out indoor life, but shed walk a mile if it meant having a person bestow her with affection. She started off so shy that she didn't want to leave her kitty cave, but now she'll come up to you for pets and rub up against you, says her foster mom. Shes getting braver by the day! Bootsie especially enjoys belly rubs, playing with a wand toy and socializing with her feline best friend in her foster home. Meanwhile, her foster moms favorite thing about Bootsie is how she chirps for attention. She talks a lot and it is the cutest thing ever! She would thrive in a quieter home with a confident cat to show her the ropes and people who would give her space to settle in. And trust us in time, Bootsie is a shoe-in for melting your heart. - Buzz.
