Blackie is an almost 11 year old sweetheart whose owner passed away and now is looking for another loving home. He is litter boxed trained and wants nothing more than food and a good head scratch. He`s shy at first, but once he warms up to you he`s a big cuddle bug. He does good with other cats, but tends to stick to himself. Although he loves playing with toys he`d much rather purfer you petting him, he will give you the sweetest little meows if you stop petting him as well. Blackie is FIV positive so he needs to be indoor only, and the only cat or with other FIV positive cats. He`s been patiently waiting for his furever home for over a year and would love a loving home with a bed or couch to live out his days. Kaylee is a 2.5 year old domestic short haired shy young lady. She was brought in with her two daughters (Saffron & Inara). They were strays found in the city of Garnett and were never claimed. Both daughters have been adopted and now Kaylee is patiently waiting to be next. She is litterbox trained and keeps her living area very tidy. She loves meeting new people and animals, but can be very shy at first. She loves any treats we give her, but temptations are by far her favorite. She loves the window hammock we have because she can see the birds outside in the mornings and its a great spot for naps. She loves belly rubs and will play bite you if you`re not also petting her head at the same time. We think that she would do best in a calmer environment since she can spook easily. Schrader is a four month old domestic short haired curious little man. He was found as a stray in Iola, when he came in he acted feral and was hard to handle without getting bit. He still has a ways to go and still won`t let people touch him that he doesn`t know. He loves scratches under the chin and behind the ears and loves being up high so he can see everything. He loves lick able treats (and regular as well) and when he runs he`s like a bullet. He is litter boxed trained and gets along great with other cats. He enjoys being pet and has the softest purr that just warms your heart and makes you feel accepted by him. He goes into a playroom with other kittens and they`re teaching him how to be a kitten again and that not all people are bad. We`re confident that with a little more time and spoiling he`ll be a lap warmer in no time. She came in with three of her kittens ( Mairenn, Caryssa, and Timeka), she has now been separated from them because they`re old enough now and all of them are available for adoption. Odessa can be shy at first; but with love, patience, and time I`m confident she`s going to blossom into a cuddle bug. She loves being brushed and loves being called a pretty girl. She is litterbox trained and gets along with other cats, her favorite toy is feather wands and craves a good scratching pad. She has the quietest and softest meow when she wants attention, sometimes I don`t hear her until the other cats respond. Rochelle was a stray brought in off our waiting list with three mommas (Emersyn, Jaikara, and Agatha) and seven other siblings. We created a room special just for them that was quiet and away from the others in hopes to keep them stress free. They have been weaned from there mommas and we are learning what their pursonalities are without their mothers. Rochelle was shy at first, but now has blossomed like a beautiful wildflower. Like most kittens she`s good with other cats, kids of all ages, and dogs. Some of her favorite things are cuddling, chasing her friends or laser pointers, soft food, treats, but most of all she craves attention. Before you even pick her up you can normally hear her loud purrs and you can tell she missed us overnight because she`s right at the door when we get here in the morning to run out and greet us. Agatha has always been fearful and timid since the beginning, we haven`t seen her really play much because she rather be sunbathing or chasing fly`s. She does well with other cats and tends to keep to herself, she is litterbox trained and loves hiding under things or in cubbies to feel secure. She`s not feral or mean just needs someone to show her the love and patience she so desperately has been deprived of. Treats and soft food are her comfort foods, and she loves cuddling next to the other caps during nap time.
