Story
Hello Fella! Fella is here along with his housemate Niko. If you’re looking for a perfect pair of cats they are the cat’s meow. This duo originally arrived at Berkshire Humane Society back in October of 2023 as a shy pair. Adopted in December, they acclimated to their new home with time and patience and built up their confidence. Their adopters worked with them, but it was evident the pair needed to be the only cats in a home. They were adopted out again, but were recently returned to the shelter, sadly due to the passing of their most recent adopter. So, now they find themselves in search of a home where someone is again willing to provide them time to acclimate and feel comfortable. Once these boys adjust, they are affectionate, sweet and love to cuddle up in bed with you. They come when called, particularly Fella who also loves to “talk back” and follow his people around. They have lived indoors only and are bonded, so they will be required to go home through the shelter’s “Buddy Program”. If you think you may be their lucky charm, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak to our feline staff directly. Story
Tabitha is a girl who knows what she wants! This independent lady was found as an original stray, but has been living safely indoors since October. You`ll find she has a bit of a cat-ti-tude. What can we say, she`s the boss and that`s OK! Tabitha would prefer a home as the only pet, along with adults only. Tabitha would love a home where she’ll have lots of places to lounge and room to play. If you enjoy the company of cats who prefer to do their own `thing` this pretty girl may just be the cat for you, because everyone needs a queen in their life! If you`re interested in adopting Tabitha, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak directly to our feline staff.Tabitha`s adoption fee includes:Massachusetts Health CertificateSpay/neuter surgeryRabies vaccine for kittens over 3 months of age1st FVRCP vaccine1st dewormingTesting for Heartworm, FIV, and FLVID MicrochipFlea treatment including the use of Advantage monthly preventativeEar cleaning, bathing, nail trimming, and other necessary grooming

Story
Princess Peony`s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Danny Boy Adoption Fund - This dignified senior lady is Princess Peony. Princess Peony originated from Berkshire Humane Society’s Community Cat Program and was deemed a friendly stray. In all likelihood, she was once owned by someone and was unfortunately left on her own, out in the elements. Despite this, she’s an incredibly sweet cat who absolutely loves attention from her friends at the shelter. Princess Peony is a lovely girl who adores canned food and will talk to you for it! Peony would enjoy a safe, indoor only home where she`ll receive all the love and TLC she deserves. She will have to be the only cat due to a couple of health issues she`s undergoing that the feline staff can discuss further with any potential adopters. If you think you would like to provide this pretty girl with the home she`s hoping for, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak to the feline staff directly. (413)-447-7878 ext. 124Princess Peony has been patiently waiting for a home since October 9th.
