Story

Socks is a three year old cat tuxedo cat that very much loves to chill by himself and look out the window. He is very low maintenance and house-broken. I first met Socks when my housemate two years ago brought in a random outside cat to feed him. It turned out that he was an "outside" cat of a neighbor, but Socks looked very malnourished and needed attention and care. With the owner's permission, I adopted him. He is fully vaccinated and the vet said that "his heart is healthy, teeth are perfect, and coat is shiny." Since I am an international undergrad who is graduating soon, I am not sure what my future plans are like and may need to go back home if things don't work out. I want to find Socks a home, someone who will be able to take care of him. I have two cat litters, an automatic cat feeder, catnip, a lot of cat food and litter. Story

Jerry is a loving cat who I’ve had since July 2023. I love him and he brings me immense joy, and he loves his sister (by adoption!) very much. Unfortunately, he has ongoing cystitis and is on prescription cat food and anxiety medicine. He has frequent flare ups or at least appears to have flare ups that would warrant a visit to the vet—even if it’s not a flare up per se. I am getting to a place financially where I’m not sure I can continue to care for him given the more than routine care he might need. He is the sweetest boy, and my heart breaks at thinking about making this choice. But I want him to have the best life possible because he’s an angel.
