Story
Meet Gypsy (Momma) & Luna – A Bonded Pair in Need of a Patient, Loving Home Gypsy, affectionately called Momma, is an 8-9-year-old darling who’s been with her owner since April 2017, when she was rescued with her three one-month-old kittens. While her owner lovingly kept all four, life has now forced a heartbreaking change. Moving into a retirement home means Gypsy and Luna must find a new family, as their owner can only bring her loyal Yorkie. Momma is friendly, calm, and loves being petted. She’s playful with her catnip and enjoys attention on her terms. While she doesn’t like being picked up or sitting on laps, she’s a wonderful companion who brings love and a sense of calm to any home. Luna, her shy and unique daughter, is not your typical house cat. She’s been with her mom and two sisters for eight years and is deeply attached to Gypsy. Luna adores her mom and relies on her for comfort and security, which is why they’re only being adopted as a pair. Luna is a big girl with a big personality but doesn’t love being touched. She’s affectionate in her own way, following her trusted person around and rubbing against their legs, but she’s scared of everything, including grooming and being handled. Due to her social challenges, Luna is at risk of being euthanized if she doesn’t find a special home. She needs someone with patience, kindness, and the willingness to give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. Adopting Luna means saving her life and giving her the chance to thrive. If you’re open to welcoming these two bonded companions, Gypsy and Luna will reward your care with a special kind of love. They may not be lap cats, but they’ll fill your home with unique charm and a bond like no other. Are you the hero they’ve been waiting for? ??

Story
Special Home Needed for a Very Special Cat! Meet Squirrel, a unique and beautiful 7-month-old girl who’s looking for a patient, loving home. Trapped at just 8 weeks old from a large colony, Squirrel has come a long way but still needs a very special environment to truly thrive. She has been spayed and is now ready for a forever home. Squirrel is not your typical house cat—she’s friendly but only with one or two people, and even then, it takes time and patience to earn her trust. Squirrel might be the perfect fit if you’re looking for a “shadow” cat, one who may not be seen often but still needs a safe, loving home. She’s low-maintenance in the sense that she doesn’t demand constant attention, but she does need someone willing to provide her with the basics—food, water, safety, and understanding. While we considered her for a barn or shop cat role, she has been in captivity for a while, and we’re unsure how she’d adapt to the outdoors now. She’s better suited for a quiet, indoor space where she can feel safe. If you have a heart for giving a special cat a second chance and don’t mind a shy companion, Squirrel is waiting for you. Please reach out with any questions—this sweet girl is in desperate need of a home where she can feel secure and loved.

Story
Meet Vivian – the playful, one-eyed wonder with a heart of gold! Vivian is a sweet and affectionate 6-month-old who loves to play and snuggle. While she takes a little time to warm up, once she does, she’s incredibly loving and might even get a bit jealous if she catches you giving attention to another cat! Vivian has a powerful purr and a unique charm, as she was born with only one eye. This doesn’t slow her down at all, though; she gets around just fine. Her eye socket occasionally needs a gentle wipe, and she’s currently on a bit of medication for a minor flare-up. She also tends to build up some ear wax, which just means a little extra TLC now and then. Vivian does well with other cats, especially older ones, and she would love a patient home where she can be her affectionate, playful self. She’s fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to bring some joy – and maybe even a spot on America’s Funniest Home Videos – to your life! If you are interested in Vivian, please consider looking at Vanessa as they are a bonded pair. Vanessa relies heavily on Vivian. They would love to stay together. Contact us at info@rescuemovement.com or text/call 314-324-3273 to learn more about adopting Vivian.

Story
Meet our dynamic duo of rescued kittens, a testament to the remarkable resilience and spirit of feline companions. These two adorable siblings are hard to tell apart and resemble their mother. They have embarked on a journey of transformation as they overcome their initial skittishness to reveal their playful and curious personalities. Their early experiences have instilled a natural wariness, but with gentle patience and love, they have blossomed into delightful bundles of joy. Their newfound confidence has even sparked an insatiable curiosity, particularly in the presence of dogs, as they eagerly explore and observe their canine counterparts. Hedwig is the quieter of the two, very curious and takes time to warm up, but watching her play with and sleep with her brother is a wonderful sight. Draco, on the other hand, is VERY vocal when he wants attention, making his presence known with sweet meows. Both kittens love aggressive pets once they finally trust you. Draco has a tendency to sleep at your feet or even on top of them. They love to explore and adventure around the house, often observing from afar before making their moves. Despite their initial shyness, these kittens have emerged as affectionate and cuddly companions, proving that with the right nurturing and care, they are capable of forming genuine connections. Their journey from fear to comfort is a testament to their resilience and adaptability, showcasing their potential to become cherished members of a loving and patient household. If you're ready to open your heart and home, you'll be rewarded with the joy of witnessing their continued transformation and the boundless affection they have to offer. With their playful spirits and newfound love for cuddling, these kittens are destined to bring light and warmth into the lives of their new adoptive family. Contact us at info@rescuemovement.com or text/call 314-324-3273 to learn more about adopting this unique duo.
