Story
Blossom is a social butterfly of a kitten. She likes to be involved in what you’re doing, whether that’s helping with chores or settling in on your lap to watch a show- she’s there. This girl is curious and inquisitive and really likes to snuggle up and give nose kisses. She’s not too picky when it comes to toys, strings and tin foil balls are the best. Blossom is addicted to screen time, though! She loves to watch the mouse cursor go across the screen and will do her best to assist you when you’re working at the computer. She gets to watch “Cat TV” during the day and seems to prefer that over window watching. Blossom is litterbox trained and is currently in a foster home with one other cat that she gets along well with. She has befriended one of the resident dogs in her foster home and is comfortable around dogs of all sizes. Blossom has been getting regular nail trims in her foster home and has learned to tolerate this exceptionally well! Story
Buttercup has really bloomed in the weeks that she’s been in foster care. She came to Brave a bit undersocialized and pretty scared, but has been won over with soft pets and tasty treats and is a completely different kitten from who she used to be. She’s still nervous about being picked up and may not ever be a fan of that, but she seeks out attention and loves to play and otherwise enjoy all of the parts of being an indoor kitty. Buttercup has some of the softest fur and bright eyes and she loves to lounge in the window and watch the world go by. When she’s in a cuddly mood, she’ll crawl into your lap and politely meow for attention. If you stop petting her, she’ll meow again until the pets resume. Beware when you’re eating around her, though, as she’s very curious about all sorts of food and thinks that she needs to help you finish it. Buttercup is litterbox trained and is currently in a foster home with one other cat that she gets along well with. She has befriended one of the resident dogs in her foster home and is comfortable around dogs of all sizes. Buttercup has been getting regular nail trims in her foster home and has done pretty well with them. Story
Mums (short for Chrysanthemum), was initially rescued from the euthanasia list when she and her kittens ended up a shelter with ringworm. She lived happily with her adopters for several years and even gained a companion named Effy, but her family opted to surrender them to us when they had a child with severe cat alergies. Mums is quiet and a bit shy, but when she is ready to snuggle, she will be all over you demanding head and belly rubs for as long as you can supply them. She will gladly share your bed as well if you offer. If cats had a love language, hers is physical touch. Don’t let her fool you, she’s not just in it for snuggles, she loves her active times and will happily engage in toy play or have a rumpus with her bonded “sister” Effy. Mums is also highly food motivated and would benefit from a bit of a diet or more movement in her day. Mums is more independent and with time and patience she will seek out companionship. These two girls would make perfect companions if you are looking for very calm personalities and want cats that seek out affection through pets and snuggles. They are perfectly content to lay beside you and be your couch buddy. Watch a video of Mums and Effy here: https://youtu.be/29oZLimo30I Requires another cat: Mums and Effy are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted togetherGood with other cats: Yes, with proper introductionsWould be fine with young kids (under 10): Lived with a young child at their previous home and did well Good with dogs: UnsureHome activity level: Quiet to averageHealth concerns or special needs: No We believe this cat is 5 years old.
