You see, I have moderate/high level Cerebellar Hypoplasia, C.H. for short. C.H. is a neurological disorder that impacts my mobility. I wobble around, I fall down, and sometimes I am all over the place; this is why someone with prior experience with my condition would be best! My perfect home would be one that is single story, potentially with older children who would show me love, and one where someone will be with me most of the day. I do love bunny hopping into your lap and stealing ALL of your attention. I get along with other cats, but I am not fond of dogs. With my condition, either one other cat friend or being the only cat in the house, would be best. Someone who works from home or someone who is able to have someone home 24 hours per day would be ideal as I am VERY accident prone and could seriously hurt myself if I'm not monitored constantly. I would also need to be confined in a safe room at night when you're sleeping so I don't get hurt. All I want to do is play like crazy and cuddle you during the night!

Hi, my name is Snack! I am around 3 years old and I think I am ready to find my new fur-ever home. Just like my name says, I love to snack. I'm also really keen on head and cheek scritchies, but am a little skeptical of full body pets still. I love to play soccer with a little ball toy, and to chase feathers and wands around. When I'm feeling needy, I will sing you songs to let you know. Had you met me when I first got here, you'd think I was a different kitty now. I was found outside a HOPE employee's home, and when no one claimed me she brought me into HOPE. I was very shy and nervous, and wouldn't come out for anything but food (its always been my weakness) so they named me Snack. Everyone here was really patient with me, and as I got to know them I got more comfortable, and now I'll wait by my door and call to them to feed me, pet me, or play with me! I do come with a catch, as no kitty can be 100% perfect, and that is the fact I'm FIV+ . This means I have an autoimmune disease specific to kitties, and can become sick more easily than a normal cat. I am still interested in meeting other cats, though I'm a bit picky with who I like. As for dogs, I haven't really seen once since getting somewhere safe so I'm not sure how I feel.
