Story
Beansprout (aka Beans) the adorable polydactyl is a great companion for someone who leads a busy daytime life, as he loves to sleep the day away and greet you with leg rubs the minute you get home. Beansprout is an incredibly sweet, very affectionate cat who will let you know when he wants to be pet by purring next to you and rubbing against your legs (especially when it’s time for a treat)! Beans enjoys being with his human in many ways, including following you around, sleeping between your legs or under the covers on the bed, cuddling up to you in bed before you go to sleep, receiving head and chin scratches while lying on your lap or chest or sitting next to you for long stretches of time, greeting you at the door with leg rubs when you get home, playing with you and his toy mice and ribbon wands. He is a curious cat who loves to sniff and explore any new items that come into the house. Beansprout prefers to be a solo kitty and doesn't want to compete for your attention. Here is a video of him: https://youtube.com/shorts/eKBZK_Hbjn8?feature=share As a polydactyl, Beans' has extra toes with nails that must be trimmed regularly so they don't grow into his paw pads. When we rescued him, he was outside and starving for a long time, his nails growing into his pads, which made it painful to walk or move. Poor guy must have truly had a miserable existence. Now, he's a happy indoor cat who's just waiting for his furrever home! Beans is about 8 years old and healthy. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and fiv+/felv-. FIV requires no special care or attention; FIV+ cats have a normal lifespan and can with FIV- cats, sharing food and water bowls as well as litter boxes. Please read more about FIV at www.petmd.com. Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street. January 8, 2025, 12:16 pm
