Story
Candy is a 1 year old she`s white and brown tabby cat who was found as a stray in Buxton. Despite her shy nature, she is incredibly sweet. Throughout the day, she tends to hide under her blankets, but during meal times she emerges to seek affection and food before retreating back to her hiding spot. It is believed that Candy is stressed in her current environment, which may explain her behavior.Recently Candy is roaming in our front room with other cats she loves the window watching everyone come in and out plus she loves the sun. With a loving and caring home, it is expected that she will flourish and become more playful. Candy`s shyness may dissipate as she becomes more comfortable in a new and welcoming environment. Adopting Candy would not only provide her with security and love but also give her the opportunity to thrive and showcase her true personality.

Story
`Kaia, a lovely feline, found her way to our shelter on February 21, 2024, as her owner faced housing challenges and made the difficult decision to surrender her. This beautiful cat may need a bit of time to build trust and show her affectionate side, as she can initially come across as a bit feisty. Kaia adores head pets and cherishes her nap times, making them her favorite moments of the day. However, she prefers to keep her feet on the ground and isn`t a fan of being picked up.While Kaia doesn`t particularly enjoy the company of other cats, she can coexist with a dog with some tolerance. If you`re looking for a furry companion who appreciates some one-on-one attention and a peaceful environment, Kaia might be the perfect match for you. Come meet Kaia at our shelter and see if she can find her forever home with you!`
