Hello, I'm Kiara. Between me and my sister Zira, I'm the shy one. I don't like it when people just assume that I want pets. I definitely have boundaries. I will let you know when I would like scratches. Otherwise, I love my freedom to roam when I please! I love to watch everything from up high. I love to climb and explore. If I sound like the kind of kitty that you need, give these guys a call. They know where I live. PAAS-Vinita

Story
Clyde is 4 1/2 yrs old. He's a sweet loving boy who loves cuddles, lap time and sleeping with you at night. He also like nibbles at the table. He was born in our house and known no other. We'd like him to remain indoor cat as the outdoors scare him. He was brought up in a household of 8 cats, 3 other tom cats. They are fighting for dominance which is which we must rehome. He'd probably do best in a household without males.

Story
Tubbs is a sweet and lovable boy. Affectionate in his own ways and will flop down anywhere for a belly rub, his favorite thing. He's currently in a small home with too many other tom cats fighting for dominance. Tubbs is more outgoing than the other cats, so should be fine other cats. Unknown with dogs.

Story
Currently one of our longest stay cats, Toyota, at only 8 months old, has been here for over 6 months of her life! No matter how many tabbies we have at any given time, Toyota is unmistakable in a sea of brown and white tiger striping -- the comically sour expression on her tiny little face alone gives her away every time. Although she may look beyond grouchy in all her photos, she's just got a case of RBF - don't listen to her. She craves affection and to find her special person just as much as any other cat out there.Toyota and her littermates had a rocky start to their early life. Despite being raised inside, they had only ever been around one person inside a bathroom. When we got them, their stomachs were distended with worms and their ears were filled with mites. Many were anemic from the amount of fleas on them, and they reeked for weeks. They didn't even know how to use the litterbox at first - which although they were still kittens, most kittens that we get that are even younger than them are already litterbox trained. Despite how frightened and unwell they were, this whole group put a brave face on and bore their longer-than-usual quarantine time, with lots of pokes, prods, and medicines, with surprising good nature. Now as a "teenager," Toyota definitely prefers to hang out in quieter or less chaotic situations than our cat room during the day. She has never been mean, and once you win her heart and remind her that she does, indeed, love pets and cuddles, she's just like any other kitten. If you'd like to meet Toyota, pop in during our open hours, email adopt.ffaa@gmail.com for any questions, or fill out our online application and we will get in contact with you! https://www.ffaaneosho.org/cat-application.html

Story
Meet Denali! Ever-elusive, this male has been through a lot to get here! Brought in as an owner surrender, we soon learned that Denali had been raised for his entire kitten-hood in a bathroom, only ever interacting with hi first owner and the other cats he shared his space with. He did not know how to use a litterbox when he got here, and he and his group were filthy, wormy, and infested with fleas and mites. Despite his fear, throughout his quarantine period, Denali and the other car kitties remained sweet and gentle. Lately, they have all been coming out of their shell and developing their own individual personalities. We think that for Denali, the final step in his evolution is finding his forever home so he can truly get comfortable away from the hustle, bustle, noise, and chaos of shelter living.Denali has been at FFAA for over 7 months now. Every day that we're open for visitors, we're hopeful that someone will look into his eyes and take a chance on him. We are certain that they will be heavily rewarded with the work it'll take for him to acclimate and build trust. But we are certain that once he feels safe in a place of his own, he'll be a spectacular and sweet friend for years to come.
