Story
Three year old Oreo is looking for a forever family! Do you have room in your home and heart to welcome this wonderful, flirtatious tuxedo into your world? With her incredibly affectionate attitude, Oreo isn't afraid to demand attention when she wants to be pampered, but she's also content to hang out on her own when she needs a little 'me time'. If you're looking for a confident kitty who knows what she wants and when she wants it, Oreo is your golden ticket. Throughout the day, you'll definitely get to see Oreo panoodling around the house, enjoying a few of her absolute favourite things: Climbing her cat towers, zooming around after a plastic spring, or laying flat out in front of your feet to encourage you to give her a massage! While in our care, Oreo has made it clear that she was born for office work - She will contentedly sprawl out right across our work desk and take over the keyboard if you give her the opportunity. You'll never be alone doing paperwork with Oreo around! With her fantastic communication skills, don't be surprised when she runs right up to you when she's in the mood for some TLC. This darling girl knows how to get a point across, even if that means she has to shove her head right into your hands to let you know that she wants more lovin'! Oreo is total foodie, meal time is the best time of the day if you ask her. She would do pretty much anything for seconds or treats, which means that food is also a great way to win Oreo's heart when you're first getting to know her. Oreo is looking for a home with no other cats, no dogs, and no young children.

Story
If calm kitties are your cup of tea, five year old Phoebe would love to spend her days relaxing by your side! Sweet as peaches and oh so lovely, Phoebe is the kind of kitty who loves to spend slow afternoons purring in the company of her human friends. More than content to go with the flow, Phoebe doesn’t ask for much, and she’s not one to fuss - You won’t find her climbing your curtains or knocking everything over, she just wants to ride this lazy river of life with you! Phoebe greatly enjoys being spoiled with attention, she loves to have her gorgeous fur pet (she’s almost a rich chocolate brown when the sun shines on her just right), and she’s always ready to listen to whatever is on your mind. Strike up a conversation with Phoebe, and watch her close her eyes in joy as she takes in your every word. Easy-going and always looking for new friends, Phoebe is a loyal companion once she settles in with you. All she needs is a bit of time to get over her first-meeting nerves, and you’ll have a pal for life with Phoebe around.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.WOOL is part of the Natural Fabrics Litter and hails from Trout Lake in Northern Ontario. He came down south with his 3 siblings (Cotton, Linen and Silk) to find his loving family. He’s neutered, had 2 sets of vaccines including rabies, a microchip and been deemed a healthy boy by the vet. This little guy is probably one of the most loving ones his foster has ever known. He loves to cuddle up with you and turn into a purring machine. He’s very much an active little one  who loves to run around with the foster puppies and other kittens in the home. Chasing the cat toys including the crinkle ones across the floor is one of his favourite things to do. He’s fearless and nothing seems to faze him as he’ll go at it full force like with something new he discovers laying on the floor.  WOOL is litter box trained and started using it as soon as he came into his foster home. Besides being fearless he’s also playful, super sweet and  oh so loving. He loves sleeping in a high sided cat bed and will snuggle with his siblings in it for his naps. He does great with the resident cat so would suit a home with another one. Saying that, he would also suit being an only child as long as he’s not left alone all day. He would also suit being with a dog as long as it’s cat savvy and accepting of cats in its space. We recommend a slow monitored introduction while the dog is leashed to ensure the safety of the kitten. Children need to be 6 plus and be kind, caring and loving towards animals.  If you would like to meet WOOL then please submit an adoption application to meet him.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 28, 2024, 8:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BOBBIN was found dumped in a field along with his siblings (Thimble, Buttons and Zipper) and is now looking for his forever family. He’s had his first vaccine, a microchip, several doses of dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. His neuter is included in his adoption fee and it’s booked for January 28th and his adopter must be available to bring him to the clinic in Barrie for it. He’s an adventurous, fun loving little guy who loves his humans and can always be found snuggling with one or the other of them. He’ll run around and play with the other kitties in the home and also chase the cat toys across the floor especially those crinkly ones. He also enjoys lounging in the cat tree and will take the odd nap in it too.  BOBBIN is litter box trained and has used it since first coming into rescue. As much as this little guy is an adventurous one he’s also a loving purr machine and you only have to hold him him to set those purrs off. He can be quite vocal if he figures he’s being ignored as he does love to get attention. He’s often found in a sunny spot soaking up the sun while lounging on one of his many cat beds. He’s fostered with a puppy who loves to chase the kittens but he’s very gentle with them. We feel he’ll do well with a cat savvy dog as long as a slow, monitored introduction is made and the dog should be leashed at that time too. He would do well with another feline companion and one who’s pretty energetic and would be open to dealing with his kitten antics. Children should be age 6 plus and be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.  If BOBBIN sounds like the guy for you then please put in an adoption application to meet him. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2024, 12:26 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.EMBROIDER was a local surrender and came into rescue with her 3 sisters (Sew, Quilt and Knit) and she’s now looking for her forever home. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl and ready to find her loving home. She’s a little on the timid side but will soon warm up to new people and she’ll be on your lap before you know it. She’ll sit contentedly on your lap and snuggle with you and it’s not too long before she starts turning into a purring machine.  EMBROIDER is litter box trained and has used it since coming into rescue. She loves to be cozy and will sit in her high sided cat bed to snuggle up for a nap. She enjoys sitting in the cat tree and watching all the critters outside the window. She’s very clean and is often caught giving herself a wash down as she sits on top of the catio. She loves to relax in a hammock and would love her new home to have one that sticks to the window. She’s well socialized as she’s fostered with other kittens, puppies and bigger dogs so would suit a home with other animals. Any dogs in the home should be cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction should be done while the dog is leashed. Children should be aged 6 and up plus be loving, caring and gentle towards animals. If EMBROIDER sounds like a kitty who’ll fit into your home then please submit an adoption application to meet her.          Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 9, 2025, 3:42 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FIGGY came into the rescue accidentally as he was trapped when we were trapping feral cats in a barn. He was very small (600gms) and we can’t even figure out how he set the trap off to get caught in it but somehow he did. He seemed pretty friendly so he was sent to be assessed by a foster and he did very well and we’re so happy he didn’t have to go back to the barn. He’s had his first vaccine, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. His neuter is booked for February 25th and his adopter must be willing to bring him to Barrie for his appointment. He’s a super sweet little guy but he’s still a bit on the timid side. He does like to be held but it’s on his terms and when he’s had enough of being held m, he’ll simply jump off you.  FIGGY’s litter box trained and had never had an accident outside of it. He’s just starting to climb up the cat teee but he hadn’t managed to quite get to the top of it yet. He loves to eat and all his food in one go so he has to be fed twice daily so as he doesn’t over eat and eat everything all at once. He loves to play hard and will run through his tunnel and chase his toys all around the floor. He hasn’t met any other animals but seeing as he’s just a kitten he should get along with others provided slow, monitored introductions are done. FIGGY would like his home to be on the quiet side and not too busy as he just likes to have the quiet life without too much fuss and bother. Children should be age 10 and up for him as they seem to scare him and he’ll just hide from them. They should also be gentle, loving and kind to animals.  If FIGGY sounds like the guy for you then please submit a foster application to meet him.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2025, 8:57 pm
