Story
Harley is a beautiful little boy and very bonded to his sister Bella. At approximately 6 months of age, they were found living and fending for themselves as kittens in the wooded countryside. Harley had become the protector of Bella her 2 very little kittens. This little family has been through quite a lot together and Harley is a very brave hearted little guy with unwavering love and devotion for his sister. In the last few months, Harley has quickly learned how to live indoors and enjoys lots of pets and belly rubs! He has begun to spend short periods of time as a lap cat and enjoys being playful and affectionate with the other two cats in the household. For a period of time he and Bella were separated, but neither of them did well on their own. It was decided that they should be reunited and what a joyous reunion it was! Now Harley and Bella look forward to finding their together furever home where they can receive all the love they deserve.

Story
Bella is very smart little girl and very bonded to her brother Harley. The two were found, along with another sister, living in the wooded countryside when they were approximately 6 months old. Bella already had 2 kittens and her sister had one. When it was obvious that Bella's sister needed immediate medical help and was taken to a vet, Bella began nursing and mothering her sister's tiny kitten. Together with her brother Harley, Bella looked after the little family, coming out of the woods to accept food in my yard occasionally. Eventually she moved her clan to my patio and garden and began to thrive. When it was time to move on to homes, Bella and Harley were separated. Neither of them did well without the other and it was decided to reunite them. What a joyous reunion! Bella is learning to play for the first time. She purrs easily and loves having her ears rubbed and spending time with the other cats in the household. Bella and Harley are ready for a loving, furrever home, together!

Story
female –torti – DOB April 2022 Marble is a very loving and affectionate girl who loves to be petted and is fine with being held. She can be a bit of a talker and quite persistent when she wants attention or her moist food. Marble was rescued from outdoors in the country when she was pregnant. It was noticed that she has a rotating back hip when she walks and therefore it was decided that an xray was in order to see whether she had been previously injured or born this way. It turns out that both of her back legs had been previously broken in several places and had healed on their own but not properly. It is not known what happened to her to create these serious injuries. The vet couldn’t believe that she could actually walk looking at the xrays however she walks quite well in spite of these injuries. She can’t jump very high however she is able to go up and down stairs. It has been decided to put her on a monthly injection of Solensia which is an anti-inflammatory to control pain for osteoarthritis. Marble will require this injection to be given by a vet for life and the cost is $70.00 and up monthly depending on the vet. In spite of her injuries Marble enjoys some play time. She likes chasing a laser light for a brief period or jumping at it, interacting with a wand toy or you may find her just laying in her cat tunnel. Marble loves her cat bed and that is likely where you’ll find her napping every afternoon. Watching the birds and squirrels from the window is another of her favourite pastimes. She has not had any exposure to dogs. Marble is a bit shy at first with new people therefore she would do best with a single adopter or a quiet couple. She would love to be an only pet as she is not fond of other cats and she would then be able to receive all the love and attention for herself that she craves. This sweet girl is now looking for a second chance at a forever home and receiving all the love and attention she likely never received in her first home. Marble is spayed – vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Martha is located in Kitchener. If you are interested in adopting Marble please contact her foster mom Linda - lsadows@outlook.com

Story
Meet Journey at Pet Valu, Stratford Journey is a big quiet guy who doesn't talk much. He is laid back and loves his catnip toys. He needs a calm and quiet home with or without other cats and no young children. He would do best with a passive cat. Journey likes to climb tall cat trees and look out big windows. He enjoys food and loves getting a kiss before mealtime, right on the lip! He isn’t a lap cat but will sit next to you. When he is tired he will find his plush bed and make biscuits as he purrs and falls asleep. Journey has had a difficult past as his name suggests, he has had a journey alright! He needs someone who knows and enjoys “the orange cat personality”. He needs someone who will love him as he is and be committed to him. He is a great cat and a good listener. Story
Cyrus Male Apx DOB May 20 2023 Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped. Cyrus is THE sweetest cat! He LOVES to be held and carried around. He always wants to be with his person/people. He loves other cats to snuggle and play wrestle with. He is a quiet guy who enjoys snuggles. Cyrus likes to play, sleep and eat. Mealtime might be his favourite time or treat time, its a toss up;) Cyrus was found in a ditch at about 6 weeks old. He had a very bad URI that just wouldnt go away. It was determined by his vet team that Cyrus has herpes. This means that he is prone to URI and will need medication to overcome this each time he is sick. As he gets older his immune system gets stronger and he has far less URI flare-ups than before. He has lived with very healthy adult cats who have never gotten sick when he has. He very much wants to live with other cats. Email for an application: axelsimprintrescue@outlook.com

Story
Diana Female Dob Approx July 2019 This stunning girl came to us December 2022!!! She has been with us over a year now and it's time for her to find her family. Diana was caring for her kittens in a small community as winter set in. Her kittens were rescued with her coming into care a short time later. Diana was very scared and we had her TNR'd thinking she would have to return to her outdoor life. Given the frigid winter we chose to keep her indoors with hopes she would learn to trust. She adored the kitties in her foster room, and now in her foster home as she is blended with the resident kitties. She snuggles close with the other cats and follows them everywhere. She watches them get love from their mom but she just hasn't quite got past her fears to accept love. Her foster mom can pet her at certain times and once she is being pet she seems to enjoy it, but she is fearful of sudden movements still. Diana is an active part of her foster home, mingling with the other kitties and coexisting with the dogs. She is still not sold on being pet but in the right home and environment she could get past that fear. She truly seems to want to snuggle in with her foster mom as the other kitties are getting snuggles but her fear holds her back. We feel, with time and patience she may even become that snuggle cat. She must have a few friendly felines in her forever home as she just adores other cats. Some might say Diana is not adoptable, why would you post her for adoption if you can't handle her?? We have hesitated for months to post her with hopes she will learn to trust enough to enjoy being pet. We feel she is just as deserving as any other kitty, we just have to find her the right person. She may never be a lap kitty, or she might turn into the biggest snuggler once with her very own people. There is NOTHING more rewarding then winning the love of a semi-feral kitty ❤️ Right now Diana lives in a home where her foster mom runs a rescue, works fulltime away from the home and cares for MANY animals. Unfortunately she doesn't get focused socializing time. We have faith that there are other loving, crazy cat people, that would welcome and love Diana for who she is, a beautiful calico with stunning markings😻 Diana is fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. If you'd like to be a part of her journey and offer her a forever home you can find our application and process on our website.
